Show is coming up soon. I will be on the road heading that way next Tuesday. Looking forward to seeing all the regulars, and hopefully some I have not met before. Here are a few pics from the 2025 show. The fellow in the red shirt, sitting next to Dave is Brian, Ivoryman on AAPK, who passed away shortly after the show last year. I will be carrying a knife from his collection in memory of him.

I am very sad to be missing the show this year, I'm sick and just couldn't swing it. Which feels ridiculous when it is in my home town. My daughter Abby was also looking forward to going and showing waynorth waynorth her knives. We always look forward to the show, but sometimes you just have to take care of yourself.

I hope to hear from folks who did make it. See anything cool? Say hi to anyone you haven't seen in a while?

Aww and it’s in your backyard. I missed it too 😢

I am also missing the show this year. Got back to the USA in 1988 and made every show since then except 2002, when I was in Afghanistan. This year my very good friend has some serious health issues and will not make the show. Long drive for me (not as long as WayNorth!) but long enough I decided not to go if my friend will not be there. I also look forward to seeing photos of the show. John

Had a great time at the show, as always. Didn’t take nearly enough pictures (as always). In my defense, I was too busy looking at knives, talking about knives, buying knives, looking at more knives… 😁

It was great seeing everyone. Getting to visit with friends and talk knives in person is always the best part. I’m already looking forward to next year!

I’ll have to take some individual photos in the next few days, but here’s a quick pic of everything I got at the show. It was a good year!

What a weekend!!! So much to cover so excuse my sorry excuse for proper grammar.

Like Barrett, I did not take nearly enough pictures but I will include what I have. Like I mentioned last year, the people is what makes this show great. It was wonderful to meet up and hang out with some of Bladeforums finest. I learned so much about knives, collecting, interests, families, and a whole lot of other things.

The absolute highlight was knowtracks knowtracks being chosen for best display. This year Dave had a mind blowing Schatt and Morgan display. Some of the things that he has tracked down to include in his amazing display is really remarkable. Great Job, Dave. We were all sitting on pins and needles waiting for the outcome.

The show was wonderful and the tables were filled with treasures.

Another major highlight as it was last year was the hangout at the Airbnb (Church of Knives). Barrett once again was able to book the church and it was the perfect place to hangout and relax. I particularly like that there seems to always be a knife being passed around. It’s basically the best version of show and tell in the world. Laughs were had and beers were drank 😁.

Now to the great knives I was lucky enough to pick up from the show.

waynorth waynorth was at his usual table and he had some really nice knives. I picked up these gems from the man himself. My favorite being a knife from his personal collection, a GEC stag 74 Ranch Hand. This knife is absolutely awesome and the others were not too shabby 😉. My favorite item from the show was a Levine 4th edition book that Charlie graciously gifted to me. Thanks again my friend.

My next stop was danno50 danno50 table. Dan gifted me this really nice Southern & Richardson castration knife. What a sweet little knife. Thank you, Dan. You are too kind. I also managed to get a 86 and a 35 BF knife from him. Two of the best Bladeforums knives in my opinion.

The last table that wrecked my wallet was at cjm415 cjm415 table. Chris had some wonderful knives but it was him and Larry that made it easy to hang around. Had some great laughs and picked up some wonderful knives. I’m not usually a two blade trapper guy but I couldn’t pass up this shielded stag 48. The 85s have been on my list forever and I’m happy to scratch that itch.

I want to thank everyone for everything. This show is certainly a highlight of the year and hopefully for many years to come. I do hope that more Bladeforums members make the trek out West for the show next year.
