Despite the scurvy rattling ...The ship is tight and seaworthy.
Is the helmsman down below ..charts out in his heavy oaken table? Using those caliper things to plot the course through the rocky reefs ahead..? Or is that the aroma of cooked Albatross coming from the galley?

...for a reason.
Does anyone else feel the sun on their face?
 
What became of the mutineers from our last voyage? I thought for sure they would be piloting a new ship?
 
I saw this thread title and thought for a brief moment, "Is GEC doing a run of #22s??". I clicked on it and was met with - well... disappointment.

Sadly, I think the way we used to do things is no longer viable. The last few years have been a testament to that and I am not overly eager at all to begin anew on that rubbish. Instead, if we are to see forum knives in the future, I'd rather see it conducted like other forums do it - the knife, features, etc. get picked by our overlords and we decide whether or not to buy when the time comes.

Way too much bad blood otherwise and the world overall could use a heck of a lot less of that.
 
With the year half over, it would be nice to know if it is even a possible venture, but who would be willing or able to guide the ship to port?
 
There were reports of horrid things, unspeakable acts that tested the validity of mens' belief in decency, brother turned on brother. Finger pointing, rabble rousing and a witch-hunt above and below decks, horrid delusions, how the wicked love to cloak themselves in virtue false as water! Even acts of cannibalism and bestial crimes on a ship lost in the void :eek: Horror upon horror.

But some had to survive .....albeit with suspect credentials .

Look to optimism and a new endeavour, Admiral Meako would not be musing thus if his Sea Lord Masters were really agin' it. A fair wind blows for those who make ready :cool:
