Look at reviews they're trash. the scales have to be replaced immediately. But the more i look at it the less i like it. The blade looks to be a V-grind which i loathe. I like slicey blades, not chunky ripping and tearing blades.I've been looking at those. You can get them in magnacut. That's supposed to be good. I'd rather hold one first tho. No experience with their handle material
Deka has aftermarket support for upgrades to the scales. Three, what appears to be a V-grind, on the blade is not at all slicey and I don't do anything not slicey anymore. I hate fat blades. The thinner the better. Squeeze a Deka and two me your glock flexes like that. Mine sure as hell don't.The Hogue Deka absolutely is NOT a “chunky ripping and tearing blade”, and plastic works well for Glock. Why “consider” a knife you say has “trash” reviews?
Didn’t you say you don’t use your knives, though? So it doesn’t really matter. The blade looks to be a V-grind which i loathe. I like slicey blades, not chunky ripping and tearing blades.
It does. I'm speaking in general. I use a knife maybe once a week to open a package or cut a zip tie. When i do use it, I want it to be the right blade for the job. Slicey always, besides, it looks way better. And looks matter.Didn’t you say you don’t use your knives, though? So it doesn’t really matter.
No need to save really, I just wanted something in that sweet spot range really. But solid recommendation otherwise.Save another $250 and buy a Cheburkov.
I'm open to lock options. Still figuring things out. Prefer smaller knives, 2.75-3 inch range. Appreciate the help.A Deka is $120 new on the forum. If you have $250, let’s get you some great options. If you’re a fan of the able lock or axis lock then maybe consider a Benchmade 940-1 S90V? I’ll post again with more options in the $250 range.
