Thanks for the chance! Here's my dog Cocoa. She's a 11 month old French Bulldog that my girl talked me in to getting(while she was a tiny puppy) and now she's my best friend.

Gracie in her first water fetch. She never did like our pool, still does not, but she will jump into natural water. It is odd, but I was proud of her this day. Thousand Oaks CA, Rainbow Falls. She found the biggest stick in the pond it seems, but it was not an issue.

Here is a picture of my beloved Mugsy. He is an American Bulldog. He was a good boy, but just a little big and too full of energy. I could barely handle him and there was no way my wife or kids could attempt to try. So... I did what was best for him and gave him to family in Suffolk, Virginia who owned a farm. Now he has plenty of room to run and be the dog he is supposed to be. I miss him.

Here are some fishing pictures of me and my kids. My son caught that bass all by himself. He was so proud that day because his bass is still bigger than any I have ever caught. The other two pictures are of my daughters with the puppy drum they caught. They caught them on Barbie poles I had restrung with spider wire. Made for one heck of a fight.

Australian Eastern Brown Snake- This one was used for training purposes by NSWFB personnel. Very venomous & common in NSW. Sometimes they go into your house & the Fireys will come & safely remove it. Sometimes they go to the vet & can be milked for venom which is used to make the antivenene. This was a wild caught snake & thus not happy about being handled. A lot of them would be hit with the axe. This little beauty was set free. I cannot work out why we have a kangaroo for our national symbol. One of these injects enough venom in one bite to kill about 20 roos.Cheers & thanks for the chance to win.

Great giveaway and thanks for doing it

This is the way my backyard looked just a few short months ago, not at all uncommon to have several hundred geese in my back yard in the winter...

Congrats on the milestone and thanks for the chance!

I've had many, many memorable fishing trips. Some of the best ones have been while fishing with my cousin in Corpus. This photo was one he had to track down for me from a friend of his that took it with a disposable camera. We had been night fishing in the Laguna Madre near North Padre Island on a cold, windy February night when I caught my first trophy size trout, a 28" 8lb fish. The fish's mouth was large enough you could stick your fist down its throat up to the middle of your forearm.

I had no camera but luckily a friend of his did. I am not smiling because at the time I was telling him to hurry up because my hands were freezing as I was facing into a cold 18mph wind. That was in 2007. I didn't get the photo until 2008.

In March of 2008 I caught a 28 3/4" trout and a 26 1/2" trout! I haven't gotten any that big since then.

I thought I would mention that my son is old enough now to handle a kayak on his own so during the past couple of years, he's joined me on fishing excursions on the San Gabriel river. Here's a photo from the first trip he paddled solo with me. He was looking forward to catching bass that day but he kept catching nice sized catfish in this one pool. Needless to say, it was a learning experience as I was describing the sharp dorsal and pectoral fins spines that he should be careful of, one cat spun around on me and stuck me in my finger joint! Ouch!

This is Scruffy:
dogscruffy2.jpg

I worked for SDG&E in Downtown San Diego, CA and one morning when parking my truck, I spotted him on a loading dock across the alley from our garage. I called him but he wouldn't come to me. At lunch time, I got a plate lunch from the cafeteria and put it on the loading dock for him. He wouldn't come to me but as soon as I took a couple of steps away from the loading dock he trotted over and scoffed down the plate lunch. Well, that went on for almost the entire week. On Thursday, he finally came to me after he ate his plate lunch and when he did, I scooped him up in my arms, went into the garge and told the boss I was taking the day off and took him to our Vet. I called the wife and she came to the Vet to meet "Scruffy" and we left him overnight to be checked out. This all took place in December and the Vet said he was about 6-months old so I declared his birthday as the 4th of July and we celebrated it every year. The next day (Friday) I picked him up on the way home from work and he was with us for 12 1/2 years.

Scruffy contracted cancer of the spleen and died here in our house. He was in my wifes arms when he died and I had already prepared his final resting place and I took him from the wife and we went out and buried him.

He was a darn good dog, friend, and companion. I miss him.

Here is my cherished companion, Jenny, waiting for that magic word, "walk!" Please do not include me in draw. Thanks!

I'm In. This is a picture of a Bull Shark I caught in the Gulf of Mexico. He got hooked in the back when I was jigging for Grouper. This thing totally spooled every inch of line off my reel twice! It took me about 1.5 hours to get it wore out and up to the boat. Then the captain would not let us try to gaff it or bring it on board!!! I had to let it go after all that work. Pictures are all I have :(

As a fan of the Molosser breed of dogs, He's either a Bull Mastiff or English Mastiff. He still looks young in the picture making it hard to determine. Great looking dog:thumbup:

Hi,

Congratulations on your milestone! Time flies when you hang around your friends.
