I have given your post some thought. Then I went to your other posts, I see that you have only posted ten times. Out of your ten posts, five of them were insulting and demeaning to other people. I have decided to consider the source and take your comment for what it is worth, nothing. A 64 year old man should know better.

OK big mouth, you got a lot say. Come on up here, we'll have somebody drop us off in remote Alaska, we'll see who gets back to town. If you want to talk more about it, you'll have to wait till I get back to town. I'll be in the mountains for a little while, not sitting around watching a show about it on TV. By the way, I've been on several remote trips since my 350 mile attempt.

Look forward to reading more about the trip, if it will be on at another time.

Dont let it get to you. He is collecting points like there is no tomorrow and will be gone soon, if he keeps it up.

Mark, no need to address folks like "snaro". Think of them as Meteors... the ones that don't burn up on entry, fizzle out and get buried at impact. This one is a hot one.

what he means is, ignore people who obviously have a lot more knowledge about this subject than he does. :)

To most readers it doesn't seem like he suggested anything of the sort...

He managed to get the “Alone” thread closed down hope this doesn’t happen to this thread also. Mark you are very interesting and knowledable about survival skills and knife making, I enjoy your posts.

Mr Knapp, I followed the link in your signature to your website. I'd know your knives anywhere. Always have been a huge fan. Will own some of your knives someday!!!

It's great to find this thread and see you out there in the wilderness doing it. You are the real deal.
