3D printed wave mod

Wow, I like this, will it/can it work on other knives? A removable wave device is a great and novel idea, congrats on a superb gadget. I hope you have a patent for that sucker!!!!

Not to play Devil's advocate but Can Mr. Emerson have a negative impact on it's use if he wishes?

Funny! SpeedHoles would be a good name for them -- but I guess that's taken. :p

Haha, "SpeedHoles" is more of an old Hotrod mod where you drill or dimple die holes in surfaces to reduce weight and for other means.
I can see how it may relate to this device in a Spydie-hole though!

How about "Hook-it", for a name?
Like slip-it, and clip-it... This one you can grip-it and rip-it! Then hook-it and book-it! :D

Was there ever an issue or patent with the add-on thumb studs back decades ago?

Might be cool to try a modified "Cobra-hood" type opener as well. Would require precise drilling and tapping of blades though...

Are you also the one that tried this same idea in kydex years ago?

I like your little pocket grabber there and I like the Spyderclaw name but you guys can duke that out and will I'm sure.

Word has it they are printing new body parts now too so you know before long we'll be able to print out our house and many other things. Pretty neat stuff!

I've seen a couple of videos recently where a warehouse sized "printer" is layering concrete for house walls.

And I'm in for one of these "insta-waves" also. Great work! Mike

That is a cool idea! have you heard of Shapeways? You can upload your file there, creat a virtual store on their site, set your price for the item and Shapeways will print the part when someone orders one and send it to them. they take a small cut and you sit back and watch the money roll in.

I'd buy a few of these. Hopefully Sal will put them into production.

i think they would be a pretty cool option , it's been working out on my UK .
pretty sure they would sell , one for every model different colors etc .

I'm sure the paramilitary crowd would dig them .

Better than what I've been doing for the last 8 years...
