.410/Rimfire Combo Guns

21, I may be wrong but i think the OP meant a .22 over/.410 under type.

Cool rig, IMO, tho I don't hunt tree rats.

Try your Google-fu on that concept. I'm sure yours is stronger than mine.

Check with Savage Arms... I think they and maybe Henry are the only ones that make them anymore, but not sure....

I'm pretty sure, as far as new guns, that the Rossi is as close as you'll get.

I don't think Savage makes the O/U combo's anymore. (they are not on their website)

Henry doesn't have them on theirs either, and I don't recall ever seeing a Henry O/U setup???

Savage recently discontinued their Predator 24f model that was offered in several variants with rifle calibers in .22, 17HMR up through .30-30 and shotgun in .410, .20 and 12ga. They are starting to bring a premium on Gunbroker and at gun shows I have attended. I have a Springfield Scout which is a unique gun and would definitely serve it's purposes in a survival situation but the ergonomics are strange especially the trigger. I paid $150 for mine back in the day, but considering what you they are going for these days, I rossi with intechangeable barrels in the lighter youth model would probably be a decent alternative for the money. I bought my nephew one on sale about a year ago in the .22/20ga variant for $99 a year ago. I like the .410 but if you want add a bit more punch and a less expensive ammo I would recommend the.20. Plus you will always be able to find a wider variety of shot sizes in the .20 Just realized I am ramblin' :P Sorry....but to answer the question, I am pretty sure no over-under combo of that type is being manufactured. Here is a link to the savage

I believe Remington might make one? or did?

Just checked on the Remington and apparently it is currently for sale. Looks like they run about $350 or there abouts:)

Once again a BladeForums member helps out! I did a websearch, but couldn't find anything. Thanks Buddha72!

I hate it cause when they were available, I wasn't interested at all. I was younger and into tacticool stuff. Now that I appreciate its awesomeness, I can't find one anywhere/

My Springfield Scout qualifies, but I heard they discontinued the model. Maybe a used one is out there somewhere for you?

One of my favorites as well. I was not aware that they're not available amymore.

Yeah, I would really like to snag a stainless model...I've bugged Springfield a few times but without any luck.

I'll hang on to mine...it's a solid little shooter.

If you aren't set on a rifle model you could look at the Taurus Judge or even smaller a Bond Arms or American Derriner that shoots .410 and .45 LC. I don't know much about them and haven't shot them like I have the Bond and Taurus but Comanche makes a Single Shot that also shoots .410 and .45 LC. It really just depends on the application you are looking for?

I really want an m6 scout too. They seem to attract about $400 last time i checked, which is way too much for what they are.

Springfield need to bring them back
