$450 knife???

For $450 I highly recommend the Umnumzaan ($425).

I find it to be an outstanding knife. And CRK customer service rules the earth.

If you haven't had a Sebenza 21 then I would highly recommend trying one!

The Zaan is undoubtably a great choice, but if I were interested in a new CRK and only planned on buying one $450 knife this year, I would wait and see what Blade Show brings in June. I'm rooting for an Insingo Inkosi.

I'd go and get something obscenely large like a spyderco tatanka or a CS Frenzy or CS Recon 1 XL.Totally pointless, I accept the fact. TBH, if I had $450 now, to blow away on a knife, I'd get a CS Laredo, but it's not a folder.

Or to be actually EDC'able, maybe a ZT 620/630. Could get both! Or a Lemerson.

$400 will buy you a custom from Bob Dozier's Raptor Series. They're featherweights, but built like tanks. Chunky carbon fiber scales, titanium liner locks, and D2 blades.

My Little Workhorse has become my #1 EDC folder. I love it so much, I'll be putting my Microtech-Lightfoot LCC and Wilson-Umnumzaan up for sale soon.

Zt 0095 and a zt 0562? Or Any 2 zt's you like. 3 spydercos? Or as charlie mike pointed out, one nice zt

I agree with Charlie Mike, any of the ZT 0392 series. Or if you wait 2 weeks, word on the street is that dealers will have the new ZT models by then...

Umnumzaan again, or Spyderco Slysz Bowie. I have an Umnumzaan, had a Sebenza, but sold the Sebenza after getting the Slysz Bowie. It has been my favorite knife since I got it. It is an Amazing knife, Amazing slicer, thin in pocket, deep carry, simple construction, washers, and the quality is top notch for around $300. The speed at which they sell at dealers sites and the exchange here tell you enough that if you don't like it, you can always recoup just about what you have in it, and save yourself $150 for another GEC traditional, but not miss out on the quality by any means.

I really like that, very nice!

Time I check out the zt site again, thanks for sharing CharlieMike

I'd get the Dozier, my first choice would be to add $150 and get his large trapper less pocket clip, with a nail nick instead of the stud that gets full of blood, hair/fat.
