500 Post, Give Back, Do Unto Others GIVEAWAY: Case Small Texas Jack ->WINNER CHOSEN

Great giveaway Pertinux
This isn't an entry because I have one of those Texas Jack's and it's a great knife, but I wanted to say thank you for doing so.

Good luck all!

Count me in! Very generous of you and looking forward to see who the winner may be!

I lurk here in the for sale sub-forum but do post here from time to time, I am very active on the jerzeedevil under another account name though. One thing I love about BF is the sheer amount of pictures posted of all different knives!

I've always been partial to "pocket knives" and things more traditional. Yes, I've been lured into folders the last year or so but my ratio is traditional heavy for sure! Thanks for the chance, I'm in.

All the reasons you listed are right on point. There is a wealth of knowledge on these forums for all styles of blades and so much more. I had a few knives six months ago but I've picked up many more since finding this site and passed a bunch along as I started to figure out what I like and what I use. And yeah, it's a lot of fun too.

Thanks for your generosity. I'm in!!!

I'm in! I've lurked here at BF for years and only fairly recently become primarily interested in traditionals. However, with the exception of a lone Spyderco Honeybee, traditionals are all I own now, and I have never been happier with my knives. Everything that I know, from taking care of them to using them to terminology and lore, I have gathered from here.

Oh, and to include kittens - my tobby, van, and big ol' orange tom are all happy that I can cut up treats for them whenever they come begging. :)

I'll take a shot and I enjoy the friendly folks I have come to know well in this section. Also all the generosity that has been gifted my way by different members within this sub forum. Another person I look up to and think of as my internet grandpa is Jackknife. I lost my grandpa at 5 and JK reminds me of the few fond memories I have of my grandpa.

Count me in.

I gave that same knife to my dad as a birthday gift about ten years ago, and he actually carries and uses it regularly.

I'm not going to enter this give away because I already own one of these wonderful knives, and two other versions as well. But, I wanted to say thank you for the give away; it is really special when you get a knife you want to own yourself, then give it away here. You have a great heart P., thanks for helping make this place the wonderful place it is. - Ed J

Here's a picture of my "special needs kitty", my buddy Mike.

I definitely owe this forum a lot. Without it, I probably wouldn't have found traditional knives. I'd be lost and scared stuck in a world of black tactical knives. Honestly, one of my favorite things about the forums is when someone posts a pic of an old dirty scratched up knife and everyone here sees past the flaws. Someone always says clean it up, put an edge on it and use it.

Anyways... lately, I've fallen in love with the texas jack pattern so I'd be stupid to pass up a chance to own one, I'm in.

Edit: Does that cat with 7 toes have two heads as well or is it two cats? Looks like two cats just wanna make sure. I mean it has 7 toes why not two heads?

Not an entry.

I enjoy the forum because of people like pertinux. It is they who make this form what it is, a mellow place to relax and talk knives in a friendly living room.

Not an entry, just congrats on the big five hundred and thanks for the great giveaway. The traditional board is such a treasure trove of info, interesting photos and olde tyme camaraderie.

This forum has inspired me to pull out some of my stockman knives and getting them in to my edc rotation. Thanks for the chance.

Not an entry, even though I am interested in the Texas Jack pattern...Congrats on the upcoming 500 posts in the Trad. forum.
I lurked this forum for a while before I ventured some posting here. I used to visit mostly to look at all the cool knives... I love the fact that you never know what knife you will see here that just makes you say WOW! that's a beauty! I've met some people here that I now consider friends, and learned tons of info. The Traditional forum has a warm feeling to it...and............. it's a fun place to hang out and look at all the cool knives
