I'm in! It has been a minute of two since I last visited this thread. I appreciate all that you do and and have done for the lambfoot, this forum, and members, Jack. My best to you.

I’m in!

You’ve definitely charmed me on the pattern over the last year by just lurking through and seeing the posts in the thread and seeing all of the amazing knives out there I didn’t know about before.

Had trouble finding one for myself though that came up at the right time.

A terrific milestone, Jack! Well done.

Many thanks for bringing this fine pattern to so many eyes over here. The Lambsfoot has never been more popular on this side of the pond and I think it's a significant credit to your efforts.

Not an entry for me, please. I am fortunate to have a small abundance of this fine pattern already and I hope more folks will have the opportunity to give it a try as well.

I’m in:thumbsup:

Given that my mother is English, it seems odd I don’t have any English knives at all.

The pic is the closest thing I have to a foot (feet).

I paid about as much attention to my mother’s stories about her youth as any kid does (next to none), but I am fairly certain she worked for a time at a livestock auction in Hants, so plenty of actual lambs-feet there, I assume. I myself am more of a sheepsfoot guy:

I’m in, I actually quite like bexoid. Thanks for the generous GAW. I only have one lamb, a rescue that was in very bad shape and still isn’t right, but it got my foot wet, would like to try one that isn’t a parts knife lol.

I'm not in. I have a wonderful Lambsfoot of my own already, and I just recently got a couple of fine knives from you Jack. I'll let this one go to someone else. Everyone should get to try a Lambsfoot.

Beautiful. That Albers is mighty classy, and the collection is just... wow.

Mr Jack Black my friend,

I have many Lambsfoot Knives, and many of them thanks to you. Congratulations for quite an achievement matey, it is most certainly amazing just what you have done for the resurrection of the Lambsfoot Knife, something to be extremely proud of.
I am not entering as I have a great selection of Lambsfoot Knives, and on top of that I have been the recipient of your amazing generous gifts.

I absolutely encourage everyone who comes under the requirements that Jack has provided to jump in here and have a crack at winning and join the Guardians - it's not the fastest thread for no small reason.

Well done Jack, and good luck who enter, and please do step into the Guardians Thread once you have this amazing prize.

Congratulations Jack!! Cheers to you and the guardians. I don’t have a lamb yet so I’m in - it’s certainly a pattern that I think is superb.

Best of luck to everyone and to get a slip by Jeremy is a cherry on top!

Yesterday, the Guardians of the Lambsfoot thread passed 5000 pages, and 100,000 posts! 🎉 It's been quite a journey! Along the way, I think it's fair to say, we have enthused a lot of folks about the pattern, and had a lot of fun doing so :) Hard to believe that the Lambsfoot was once virtually unknown here on BF. Thank you to all my fellow Guardians for all their contributions over the years. If you're one of us, there's a giveaway running in the Guardians thread, but this is a giveaway open to everyone. If you'd like to try a Lambsfoot knife, or like another, please just post 'I'm in'. If you want to post a pic, or a further comment, please feel free to go ahead. All that I ask is that, if you win, you visit the Guardians thread, and post a pic of the knife, and that you give the pattern a try

The prize is a Taylor's Eye Witness Lambsfoot, in stainless, with traditional 'Bexoid' covers, and I'll ship it anywhere in the world. I'll do the draw in a week or so

The best bit - Jeremy @sbh06 has very kindly offered to make one of his pocket slips for the knife :)

Good luck folks

Jack
