Congratulations on such a wonderful marriage! I'm on my 24th year ;our love,faith and beautiful young son make for a wonderful life. May you have fifty more!

I don't have a real secret but I think it helps to have the perspective that your spouse gets to choose to stay with you each day and is not required to do so just because a wedding took place. A note to all who left such nice notes for my wife and I. Many of your comments brought tears to our eyes. Maybe we should all write a book with all the helpful suggestions. May you all have meaningful relationships in your life.

Congrats on the 50 years, not easy to accomplish for most. I was just at a Vince Gill concert, and before he played "Look at us", he told the story of an old married couple he talked to who were celebrating their 70th. He told them congratulations, and they saw his wedding ring. The guy asked him how long he'd been married. He replied "Thirty two years..... total." :)

I waited till done but sent Congrats via PM and do so now as well for both the anniversary and your excellent GAW, well done on both counts and also congrats to the winners!

as far as that 50 years of marriage goes, from the photo, I'd say you got the better half of that deal ;)

We just celebrated our 35th this past August, so a ways to go to hit 50 !
