HI BILL! That Knife has excellent balance. and the piece of Koa just won't stop! Laurence RHINOKNIVES.com

Thanks for the comments everyone, and yes I think everyone should have 3 or 4 or 5 or 6. :D

Hey Laurence where have you been, I haven't seen you around here for a long long time, I hope everything is good with you.

Thank you for lookin,

Bill

I love it. You chose some really nice wood for the handle. It looks great with the pins. I've got to say, I like handles with many small pins rather than three large ones. Blade looks great. I agree with the previous posters who called it "clean". That's on of the words that pops into my head too. It's a very nice package.

Thank you all again for the nice comments, this knife is still available if anyones interested.

Thank you,

Bill

man that thing is sharp! (pun intended) I wouldn't take away or add a thing. May I say, "elegant and understated"? Naw that's a bit "Antiques Roadshow" ... let's just stick with "clean".

EDIT: good lord, I just looked at B.Buxton's website and that mosaic damascus folder on the home page just blew me away. At first glance I said, "no way, that pattern is just etched on there." You, sir, are a craftsman of the highest order. Beautiful.

Maybe I could start just learning some filework to be worthy of even breathing the same air as artists like you. :D

BTW most people would have aligned the woodgrain to be perpendicular with the length of the knife. But it looks really nice canted back a bit like you have it there.

Thank you again for the nice comments. It surprised me a little too, that this one is still available, but I guess hunting knives aren't on to many peoples mind this time of year when its 100+ degrees. Now if it had a sprinkler in the handle it probably would have sold quickly. :D

I'm not argueing with you, I'm sure most people would have done as you stated with the wood grain. I've just never been to worried about doing things like most people would , I had it turned differently and then changed it, to me it gives the knife more character, but thats just me. Thanks for the nice comments on my folder.

Thank you for lookin,

Bill

Bill this is a beauty!!!! and I'm VERY surprised it's still here. I remember several months back when I had cash in hand that your EDC's were gone before I could ever get in on one... until that beauty of your's I scored.

If i didn't already have one of these fabulous EDC's of yours I think I'd borrow some cash f/a buddy to get this one.

Whomever gets this will be delighted I'm sure!!!!
