5th pocket

A folding scalpel or box cutter is a handy watch pocket carry..

Is the Umfaan smaller than the Mnandi?

Oh yes, by quite a margin. Check it out here - A "small" (haha) review:

That’s crazy. I had no idea they were that small.

I usually carry one of these in my 5th pocket.

This one is the old AUS8 variety, and with the annoying not-sharpened-all-the-way-to-the-choil grind, but the new ones are S35VN, and properly sharpened to the choil. It makes an excellent don't-know-it's-there-till-I-need-it lightweight knife, and it satisfies my one Scottish gene. I've had it for years and carry it often.

I also carry my my 3 inch Hold Out on my fifth pocket when the one I m wearing is big enough to hide it completely. Great all around user in a very compact 3 inch package.

An endorsement like that from you has moved the 0545 up several spots on my to-buy list!

It got no love from the ZT fans - and it's not exciting to look at. For me, though - I appreciate purposeful design that performs. That's why I love this one. The intent was to create a super-slim, flyweight, high-cutting-performance frame-lock flipper. They nailed it. I can't think of any other knife I own that does this as well.

I bought this knife SPECIFICALLY to carry in that pocket. All other small knives are now redundant.;)

This is a SCALE RELEASE auto by Chris Crawford. A meticulously made and super snappy auto that comes in at 3-1/8" closed and 5-1/2" opened.
It is exactly the knife for my “coin” pocket.

Case two bladed Jack in carbon steel with red bone handle. I'm still mad at Case, but I bought it and must use it.
