If you are on the list and haven't paid the $5 for shipping you can send it through paypal to itsaburl@hotmail.com

If you signed up to test our stabilized burl blocks and do not see your name on this list, send me a PM with your name and address.

I tried to pick out pieces I thought would go good with your knives. The wood should arrive in a few days. Let me know if you think the wood I sent you will be all right for your knife. If you don't like the piece I sent, let me know and we'll pick out something different.

Please reply when you get your piece and let me know if it will be good for your knife. I think you will like what I sent.

Thanks again I'm looking forward to using your product and do prefer doing business with small small businessman and developing a relationship with them so I'll be thinking of you first in the future for any of my stabilized wood needs. Doing this give away says alot about you as person and your business model :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I received my burl yesterday, It looks great and I am really excited to work with it. I paypal'd the $5 tonite.

The only problem I have is that the block is so BIG and nice, I am now leaning toward forging something big out of 1095 and to shoot for a good hamon. The knife I had planned on using the block on was a medium sized fighter that I already had forged and ground out of 5160, but now I am having second thoughts. We'll see. Thanks again for the block, it looks great.

I said this in the first thread, but I got my wood, and paid. It's gorgeous. I bet I can make two knives out of the block too!

I recieved my "Itsaburl" block today and wow I gotta say thanks again. This block is easily big enough for 2 large hidden tangs or a bunch of small stuff. I'm looking forwarg to cutting this baby in half and having a look inside.

Paypal is sent. Usually when I order handle material I see a pic of it - this is kind of exciting since I have no idea what I'm getting! Maple? Buckeye? Redwood? Natural colour? Stained?..........

Came home to find mine waiting for me. A very generously sized block of very pretty maple burl.

Hope to get my new forge working and start on a blade for it this weekend.
 
I received my block. It is beautiful!! I just don't know what kind of wood that it is. Maybe Maple Burl?

I have my blade forged out for it already, its going to get a Wrought iron guard which should look great with the W2 blade. this might be the one i submit to the pro photo people the sent to blade :D
