6 New Zero Tolerance Folders Announced at the 2016 SHOT Show

This is a killer lineup. It's not going to please everyone but there's one knife in there for everyone.

Talk about diversity.

Miss big ass knives? Boom, 0804cf

Miss overbuilt knives with solid pivots and g10 handles? Boom, 0909

Want ridiculously lightweight? Boom, 450cf

Want fancy 3d machining? Boom, 0456

Like the sterile designs from last year? Boom, 0220

Love in house designs? Boom, 0095bw

I thought the 0804CF was a fixed blade when I was scrolling and only saw the first picture. Now lets play the "How Many of These are Going to be Limited Edition" game....being a bit cynical but probably knowing ZT.

So ZT builds two old school style knives in the solid pivot, g10 liner lock 0909 and the huge almost 4 inch bladed 0804 and they are too far away from their original theme... And yet the two you like are probably the two fanciest ones of the new releases.
The 0909 and 0804 look like they'd be unwieldy in the hand because the butt of their handle is so thick. I didn't say I didn't like the knives, just that they're moving away from what they used to be. If I had enough money I'd probably try them all.
The 0804cf looks like it'd be really cool and a good user as well.

Seems like I'm in the minority but I think the Anso 0220 looks great. The rest are not really my cup of tea though.

These are all production models, don't worry!

Imho, from my perspective/tastes, ZT has gone too far away from their original theme and toward art knives.

I think the 0909 fits right in with the old ZT line. It's big with a 3.8" blade of S35VN, G-10 scales and extra-thick steel liners!

0804cf ouch! why so expensive? ~250 would be reasonable.

It has to be all the DLC coating on the blade and titanium, CF, machined titanium pocketclip and CTS-204P steel.

For a large flipper with a 3.9" blade it's relatively light at 5.1 ounces.

Yeah I agree, now that I looked better. The handle shape doesn't appeal to me much so I kind of passed it over. Definitely looks like a tough worker. I really like the old solid pivot.

I was intrigued by a few of them; but I'm not a huge fan of dedicated flippers. (I like to be able to control the opening speed when it is appropriate to do so) For that reason, none of them are MUST HAVEs for me; but that doesn't mean I won't end up with one.

The 0220 looks nice, but the location of that lanyard loop looks very uncomfortable. I don't think I want a metal projection pushing into the meat of my hand while I'm using my knife.

Want different locks? Well, not so much. ;) They'll be well made knives, but this is really just more of the same from ZT. The Anso collab is the only twist I wasn't expecting.

There's a Hawk Lock Kershaw...

A new one? That would excite me! The MUDD remains my favorite ZT and I really dig the Launch series that Kershaw, well, launched last SHOT. I've heard rumors of an Emerson collab Launch 5, which definitely makes my ears perk up.

KnifeArt sent an email with links to these about a week ago, and then quickly deleted the link.

I am a lot more interested in them than the next set of LEs that ZT has on the horizon, but only the 0450CF is a shoo-in for me right now (I never picked up the all Ti version).
0456 - would be a shoo-in if it weren't for the weight - they need to mill out the inside of the handle scales on that.
0804CF - would be a shoo-in if it weren't for the price and the slightly uninspiring shape.
0220 - just doesn't float my boat.
0909 - too heavy and plain for the price.
0095BW - like it, but it's difficult for me to think of it as anything other than a re-styled 0808, and I already have 4 0808s in various configurations.

That Anso is a must buy for me....hope that relationship bears more fruit over the years. I'll also end up getting the sinkevich....an amazing little piece with some amazing milling. The George is not for me....but very reminiscent of the 0200, glad to see a hard use beastly flipper back in the lineup.

I think the 804 price is due to the size and the 3d machines ti pocketclip.

The shape is almost exactly the Rexford Gamma too.

I'm sold on the 0450CF! It's the remedy to the one (significantly) minor gripe with the 0452CF!
