Will the 710-1401 gain any collector status after they're sold out ?

I don't think it's special enough to command major increase in value because there are many versions of 710-xxx over the years, the older 710-2 is about the same price as -1401 and have M390 blade as well. So.... I still love my and probably won't ever sell it.

Well I've had my 710 for about 6 or 7 weeks now. Its been in my pocket everyday. What really amazes me is how easy it is to carry. It basically disappears imho. Even in dress pants. As a pastor I wear a suit at least three times a week. While the Grip never was an issue the 701 just lays so flat.

I recently sold my 707 to a buddy and suggested that he take my 710 as well. He was short on cash and knew he wanted it, so I slipped it into his coat pocket and told him that it was a gift provided he never sell it or trade it.

Last week, I quickly bought another before they're all gone!!!

I never thought this model would be discontinued. One of my favorites. Should be a constant staple like a 110 or police. Regret not buying more.

My absolute favorite edc knife of all time. It carries so well. Mine is not centered and I had to sharpen it a bit when I first bought it. It is the only Benchmade I've owned that didn't come with a super sharp edge from the factory. Still, the D2 holds it's edge very well. I think I will try and find another one. I love this knife.

Me too, Joe. My four aren't going anywhere ever.
...and if I ever get a chance at another plain edge BK or an M2HS, well there'll be more in my drawer!
