#77 Barlow 2016 - What configuration would you like?

Mike's 77 Barlows (I have a single Sheepfoot in blackwood and this Spear/Coping in red sawcut) are easily my all-time favorites. To me they're perfection in every regard from blade choices to the bolster stamping and scales.

I have to agree. My one and only 77 has become my daily carry. Everything about the knife is absolutely perfect, aesthetically and functionally. Before I got it, I wasn't even that much of a Barlow fan.

Pinchable single clip with Antique yellow jigged bone would be great. Thanks Mike.

I've sworn off new pocket knives but I have a weakness for the 77 NF Barlows. Depending on what the blade/handle combos are, the NF Barlow may be my one knife purchase of the year.

Pinchable (EO notch?) blade with a point (clip/drop/spear) with a micarta cover option...oh and is it to much to ask for an August release from CK

Pinch able definitely maybe the option for 2 sawcut bone covers this time. Maybe bring back the chestnut from the first run. All steel or all nickel silver I liked both. Clip point of a large Spey blade like the toms choice for this time around with the option for a secondary caplifter or coping blade like the last run. Jigged bone perhaps but definitely a sawcut option as previously stated. I know old red was popular but try a new color this time around. Love my 77 Barlow Mike and I know that anything you put out will be spectacular.

ditto -- still dream'n of a green sawcut clip point 77

This may have come up - I did not read through the whole thread. I would find it interesting to have a smaller spey blade as a secondary. I am thinking something along the lines of the secondary spey blade on the #38 farmers jack. Thoughts?

I'm still holding out for the 77 auto rescue tracker

In light of recent releases I would have to say that any color variation of the smooth giraffe bone would look amazing and I'm sure wouldnt last long.

Is there a good source for giraffe bone?

I apologize as I honestly have no idea. I personally had never seen it in a scale until the release of the Esky Zulu yesterday. Apparently it's extremely dense bone and took beautifully to various colors of dye. I did not purchase one but all of the reactions seemed very positive with a lot of " wish I'd grabbed a knife in those covers" being echoed. I immediately thought of the #77.
