#78 American Jack

I feel like this is a movie and I really want to see you find that other CK SFO. On the edge of my seat!

I doubt it will happen - no one seems to be getting rid of those. If it wasn't for an awesome member of this forum, I wouldn't have gotten the one I have! ;)

Old Engineer Old Engineer Had to go back and look. I agree Harry. Kiro’s is just exceptional. I don’t think I’ve seen another one quite that nice.

Squidman24 Squidman24 The CK SFO is the micarta, correct? I’d really like to get one of those myself. Let me know when you have your garage sale!

paulhilborn paulhilborn and Kiro Kiro :: There have been some pretty nice Stag 78's shown , but I think you guys got the picks of the litter . I would be very happy with either one of those .

Harry
Thank you! I'm certainly pleased. This has been a fun run to participate in, but also to be a spectator. With so many options people are hunting down their favorites (or all of them, wow). And forums like this make the whole experience more enjoyable.

Good afternoon everyone! Well I found a few treasure in the mail box today :D Received a ebony and acrylic today! The ebony is darn near perfect! And so is this acrylic except for one thing... the sheild. Now I have owned quite a few gec knives (10-15) but this is my first knife with acrylic covers. I dont know if you would call it a gap or if the sheild was cut or melted to deep not sure how they add the shield. Or is this just how a acrylic versions shield would fit? Whats your guys opinions? Sorry for the photos dark outside already kinda hard to get a good pic indoors.26863283_1110968532372516_9059345401869500416_n(1).jpg 26276795_207189919857902_4302325154798632960_n(1).jpg

Maybe 50% of my shields, on all cover types are a little off.
As if during pinning they are forced snug to one side and the other side will show a small gap if routed barely too large.
I cannot speak for acrylic though as I own none.
