,,,,,,,,,

I just have to say I like it a LOT! Might give it a try as well. I've got a couple of days off coming up and at least 2 knives I just finished that I wasn't sure what to do with.

Didn't read all of the post and I'm sure it's already been said....
WOW!
Seriously, that finish/patina looks amazing. Thanks for sharing the details too, I've got a six that's already missing half of the "paint" and I was wondering what I was gonna do to treat it. (now in my best Borat voice):
Very Nice!

It came out pretty good. Ive been having some medical issues, I spent the last two days at the hospital for some heart testing. I'll try to get the pics of the 6 up today. If not it may have to wait till saturday.

I put a patina on my scrapyard yard guard, then I saw this. Lets just say I am making a grapefruit sandwich with a slice of SR77 meat.

Great looking knife!

Cheers,

Whoa, that grapefruit patina is something else entirely! Nice work.

How many other fruits and vegetables did you try before settling on the grapefruit?

Im back! Sorry guys but i was having some med issues, im only 31 and having some heart problems. Pics and tutorial pics of the 6 will be up by the weekend. K14, I will try my hardest to get a hest wrap vid up this weekend as well. I have just had no time at all.

I definitely have to give that a try! By far the BEST patina I have seen!

Thanks for the tips and for the excellent pictures :D

I'm trying this on my RC-4 as we speak. I might have a few questions. It looks great on your HEST.
