Would you hate me if I said I had two perfect (for me) knives? The Crucarta Native Chief from Spyderco and my Spartan Harsey Folder. I love how they look/feel/cut/carry. Honestly, I could be happy for the rest of my days with just those, and I'm planning a massive reduction in my collection as a result.

I’m trying to just pick my favorite 10 to keep and sell the others. Been trying to accomplish this for over 2 years now🤷🏼‍♂️

After a while I convinced myself a knife isnt for cutting stuff, its just something for my bank account to be busy with.
On a serious note, as I've said I've dumped my knives into a sock drawer sans socks, the model that gets grabbed the most is a fully-serrated salt model

It's a marathon, not a sprint.

Also, I should say, I have no issue with those who amass a large quantity of knives. Some of my favourite people on this website have collections that rival most cutlery stores.

I didn't think it was possible to find exactly what I like, and then I did. That's all!

I have a knife that I use daily... but I almost never cut with it.

Is this another one of your wizard riddles?

Nope, all he has to do is brandish his perfectly sharp edges and whatever he needs cut just falls to pieces from fear.

I have my favorites, but all of my knives get used except sentimental ones that wouldn’t be much good functionally.

I’ll pick up a $500 Busse and whack it into a tree just as readily as a $50 Mtech.

I concur with 98% of this. The difference is, I'm too cheap to waste $50 on an Mtech when El Salvadorans make awesome machetes for ~$20.

I hear ya. All my wannabe users have been hijacked for the past 10 years by a pesky Seb 25. I just can't help putting this knife in my pocket, and once in a blue moon the fantastic 551 Grip or something else kick it out.
