_

I don't mean to let the air out of things but I think the "_" is overrated. The more I think about "_" the less enthused I am about "_". I hear the "\" is coming out next week and it is supposed to be 50% stronger than "_" yet 20% lighter than "_". I don't know about you but I'm saving up to buy two "\" when they hit the stores. Does any one else have an opinion about "\"??

I heard that a _ could open inadvertently in your pocket. Well, it's true. I got stabbed the other day reaching for my _ . Required 4 stitches, and I promptly threw the _ in the trash, stupid piece of #$!!@.

I want to hear from the manufacturer what they're going to do about it! I find it hard to believe this was just an isolated incident!!!

BTW, just to clarify for the newbies, it's pronounced _ , not "_".

P.S. I can't wait for the new \. I even hear they're thinking about a |, but I'll believe it when I see it.

I'm just going to wait till the ^ comes out. That looks like a much better idea than the _ and the / combined.

PWork, what's this about a /? I knew about the \ but the / is news to me. Where did you get your info? Are you it's correct?

The kid behind the knife counter at Walmart told me the / is just the lefty version of the \. He could not, however confirm or deny whether both were just ripoffs of the _.

All,
I've been waiting for an answer to the original question. Please stop going off on a tangent and answer directly. I can honestly say that I feel the answer is maybe, and that is definite.

Rest easy sir. It would appear you have answered your own question. :p :p

Great to see this thread still up. The Sebbie is an incredable knife. What I don't understand is why brownshoe has not weighed in, Sebbies are on of his favorite subjects.

:D :D :D

My information is good. I have a very reliable source. He says the ^ blows the _ away and makes the / look rather silly.

I'll admit that the ^ looks pretty interesting, but the grind angle doesn't look acute enough... How about a Kris ~ ?

You guys are crazy in the head. I just spent and hour and a half reading through 11 pages, only to find out thyat _ isnt any good compared to /.

Couldn't you just said that at the beginning?

Where the heck is Iron-Wolf? He starts this thread & we give him all this great feedback & he doesn't even acknowledge us! :( I bet he's not even considering a _ & is probably getting himself a Buck 110 (which is way better than a _, /, \, >, <, ^, or ** IMHO, anyway!):D :D

That may be so but I bet the 110 isn't nearly as good as the |*#~!! They say that model will revolutionize the world as we know it.

Just in...............................
The ^ and the /~ are made of......ROSTAFREI!!!!
