I'm quite happy with both 74s. The NF has plenty of claw marks that don't run parallel (my personal preference). The green one is just about perfect (to me) as well.
I know the green came out in two batches, about a week apart. I wonder if those yellowish ones were all from the early batch. I ordered mine because I like their specific shade of Spring Green, and would have been disappointed to not get what I was expecting. HOWEVER, if the yellow/green would have been made as it's own color instead of Spring Green, I probably would have bought one.

You are welcome Sir !! I hope my Stallion Cougar Muskrat comes with non-parallel cuts like yours too . I did not get the Spring Green , but I did get a Yellow Rose . I do prefer the Green that you got but if I would have got one of the Yellow/Green after ordering the Spring Green , I don't know what I would have done about it . It reminds me of when GEC kind of messed up on the 77 Barlows that was supposed to be Smooth Autumn Gold and it came out in what IMHO is the best color yet . Enjoy your 74's Ryan .

Lol that's a good one. Beautiful knives you have there. That cougar clawed is gorgeous. I agree with ya on the Tidioute. The green looks great :thumbup:

I missed out on the Heartland Clip Jigged Bone, so went with the DLT Autumn Leaf SFO and am soooo happy with it! Very sharp right out of the tube. Goes well with the GEC elk-handled Mustang.

I'm liking the way the cougar-clawed version came out. Looking forward to seeing more pics of those as folks receive theirs.

Im using Luc's pic as example but has anyone else thought of how the Tidioute version would look if the grind above the nick didn't have the tipped look, but a clean straight grind keeping just enough to cover the nick?
 
Brett do you mean like square across the top/spine of the blade? I reckon it would look alright.:)

That's a beauty! I tried for the jigged bone, and failed. But the more I see of these ebonies, makes me wish I had at least tried for one instead. Might have had a different fate. Glad you're carrying it though!

Just received my Chestnut colored Stallion with a Muskrat clip with Cougar Clawed Bone . It is exactly the color that I wanted . Ordered it sight un-seen too. Like it a lot.
