A BeckerHead's EDC looks like...

Other than the 16, which lives in the garage, this just came from the EDC bag in my car:

I don't think anyone should leave the house without the holy trinity. A knife, flashlight and lighter.

TOTALLY AGREE!

alox wenger SI (i dont use it every day, but when i need tools its pretty darn useful)
buck 309 Companion (the knife i actually been using!)
alox classic on key rings (my backup, even if i somehow forget my knife, i have SOMETHING)
zippo (I have two but using the bronze one here lately)
solitaire maglight, its little but its big enough ;)

I work in a warehouse, i cutting stuff all day long, open up pallets, cutting pallet ties (hard plastic), cutting down boxes, opening boxes. I've brought my bk11 before and it works, but i reallly like something with more of a point, it helps start the cut. I suppose different strokes for different folks

Owning a grand total of 1 Becker Blade, I don't particularly consider myself a Beckerhead yet.
However, I do EDC my 14 above all else because
1. Its a sweet blade to say the least and does everything.
2. The sheath I made keeps my flashlight as well as my Clipper (Thank you Tradewater :) )
3. A small fixed blade somehow generates less raised eyebrows in India and my 14 (modded as it is) looks very utilitarian.

The rest of my much abused edc gear is
1. Polaroids & Prescription glasses, one of which is on my face almost all the time.
2. Blackballandchain
3. Austin Reed Trifold wallet
4. Keys
5. BK14/Flashlight/Lighter Combo
6. Casio Edifice Chrono
7. Parker Vector
8. Victorinox Spartan Matt Finish
9. Combat Technologies Stinger.
10. Smokes
11. Handmade notepad (My lil sis designs and makes these)

This needs bumped!!!

G26?
If so how do you get in with it? I'm thinking of getting one

Not sure what you are asking Luke? :D

I love my g26. Perfect for CCW in my opinion. I carry it in a crossbreed supertuck horsehide:

I will update this later with the new BK14 setup, but this is what I carried a few months ago.

How is that Candiru? I was thinking about getting one. I am the one that is getting everyone else into knives in my group of friends, so none of them have anything that I do not.

Candiru is a great little knife with the micarta scales on it. I had JD at 710customs make me the kydex sheath. I have strictly worn it as a neck knife. Don't even know its there really. As you know, the 1095 is great. Impressive little big knife IMO. Just wish the cost was a little less......

I picked up mine used LNIB here on BF so got a decent deal.

Usually it's just my keys, phone, and a recent Valentine's gift from my wife. I wanted something that reminded me of my father's old pocket knife and this does it. I'm going to love passing this on to my son.

I'll play.

BK5
BK11 with Firesteel, 100 mile-an-hour tape, 550 cord
Victorinox
Belt I made
Work gloves
Felt hat
Springfield XD 45 4"
Keys
Lighter
Motorola
Snippers
Cold Steel Pipe Hawk

On Sundays, I only have the BK11, keys, lighter, and Victorinox. Other than that, I have all of this on my person, minus the BK11 (Sundays only now). Depending on what I am doing, I may leave the Pipe Hawk in the bed of the truck or hanging in a tree. Mrs. Survivormind carries pretty much the same stuff minus the hawk and swap our the XD for an LCP and the BK5 for a BK2. She was carrying her Glock 30 but switched over to the LCP since the Glock kept pulling her pants down.

There are several other things we consider to be EDC. They always stay in the truck so we always have them within a couple hundred yards at most. Off the top of my head, these things are:

Small crate full of heavy rigging (about 100 lbs worth)
Come-along
Tow strap
2 gallons extra gas
A Dynamed medical bag I assembled (everything from quick clot to Children's Ibuprofein)
Extra layer of clothing
Insulated work gloves
Garbage bags
Bungie cords
Dog food
Flashlight
Sunglasses
A bottle of cheap Tequila
Jumper cables
4 dogs :D

Here's a pic of the truck bed with the Dynamed opened. There may be any number of other fun items in that mess in the back. Don't judge me. :)

My tool box in my truck bed looks like that lol. Its a necessity to have all that, if you farm or homestead.
