Man, it took a lot of useless reading to find out if Midget ever got a replacement (he did... post #793). I finally had to resort to a user/thread search.

BTW, I hope steelswing got an infraction, seeing as how little kids read this forum.
 
Look at the bottom right corner of a post and you'll see a red chicklet for an infraction and a yellow one for a warning. You won't find any early in this thread, though; this thread started in 2005, before we had that feature.

There have been so many warnings, infractions, and miscreants walking the plank in this and other threads on the Strider controversy I lost count long ago. If the plank weren't good solid oak they would have worn it out.

If i purchased a knife second hand.....or a gun or a car, i would contact the manufacturer and ask if there was some way to take care of a problem, which there always is with us even if you go the thing second hand, rather than go to a forum and talk about how the manufacturing of ten year old gear is going down hill.
