Here's a couple pics of my latest 2 SHBM trades :D  Very cool blades...I'm stoked on em! There's only one knife I like more than these and I think everyone knows which :p

Thanks Dave! :p I was hoping the swedged one would be a 1/300 but it isn't. Apparently they only came with slotted screw fasteners. The swedge looks thicker to me than a 1/300's from what I've seen. It's still an incredible knife though! The scales are VERY comfortable!

Thanks Tyrkon :D you never know what's going to pop up!

Paul,

I sure am glad that you're not after my SHBA's.
That is a good haul of SHBM's if I do say so myself.
I'll bet that Cobalt is frothing at the mouth. :p

What makes you think that all 1/300's have slotted fasteners??

:D I'm after an INFI one preferably used but that's it :D Thanks  I think he is :p though I think mine definitely pales in comparison to his.

I suspected that all 1/300's had slotted fasteners (and in a few rare cases smooth ones) because I only saw pictures of them with slots. This was confirmed by Cobalt (Dennis).

The one on the far left is a 1/300 though. It's a BBSHBMLE Custom Shop :D I'm drooling just from saying that!!!!

And yet he claims that the JASHBM's from last year's blade were made from 1/300 blanks.
Also that the "tube knife" of your's was also made from a 1/300 blank.

They may have been made later than the original 1/300's and be heat treated slightly differently but all the same blanks just made at different times.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. :p

I've heard speculation of the same, and very different. I guess there's no way to know....the head honcho probably doesn't remember the story :p I'd thought the tube knife was made from a 1/300, but was told that it was just a later model that had a swedge ground on it. Doesn't really matter to me either way...I'd still like them all the same. I guess technically you're right on the 1/300's having tube fasteners if that's the case. I don't know about my newest trade though....I think it's a newer one....the swedge looks different to me. I was told it could possibly be a ganzaa or show blade. Who knows....it's entertaining gathering all the info everyone has!

Maybe Andre will chime in here with his 2 cents sometime.
He was around long before I even heard of Busse.
Cobalt should be along shortly to put his 2 cents in as well.

I've asked Jerry a couple questions about other knives but he can't really remember...."too much scotch under the bridge". :p I'd like to hear anyone and everyone's input. I'm just a growing piglet :D I have much to learn.
