A couple SHBM's

They're nice sheaths too kydex is thick

those sheaths came with every factory SHBM I ever saw. But I have bought SHBM's without them which means that either some did not come with those or some looser kept the sheath.:thumbdn:

The older sheath had a clip on belt loop and it rode much lower.

I know my SHSH came with a original kydex sheath but my SHBMs didnt, but one came with a amorall sheath thatll work just fine.

There were at least four different "Factory" Sheaths for the Straight Handled Battle Mistress.

Three different Kydex Sheaths and then the Green Cordura with liner.

Let me See, there was the High Desert Low ride,a Taco folded sheath, then the ones shown here sort of the same without the big drop and two pieces of kydex with rivets both sides , then some with a formed kydex belt loop.

I like the High Desert Low Rise the best so far.(When not using a Buy Brown Sheath)

Of the factory sheaths, I like the drop leg one with the quick release at the belt buckle. I don't have a buy brown for a SHBM yet, but I do have one for my Eu-Magnum and love it. I also like Leatherman if I'm going to be using leather. Depends on where I'm taking the knife and how I'm wearing it. I like to strap it to my pack in Kydex and carry on my belt with leather. The only kydex I can comfortably carry on my belt is the drop leg kind.

yes, that's the one that caused me to loose an SHBM on a boat at high speed over water. was not secure enough.

That's the risk you take when using a sub Per sheath with an expensive knife.

Also a risk taken when you go into the Water with any gear.

To be accurate, you need to grind off a section of the surface that is about half the size of a dime.
