A big two thumbs up for Gigone! I have several Sebenzas and I think that they are a very well made knife backed by a group of people under the direction of Chris Reeve that are dedicated to producing a high quality product. From them I have received customer service that has yet to be equaled. I have never had a Sebenza open in my pocket. I rarely flick my Sebenza open because I don't want to. I'm not sure that flicking the Sebenza will void the warranty. If brownshoe is referring to the infamous lenny incident, further investigation will show that lennys problem was not as a result of flicking his knife but a result of bending and filing the lockbar. Lenny had his Sebenza fixed at a token cost and issued an apology to Mr. Reeve and company. Sebenzas aren't perfect but I think that they are very good. I like them and do not resent in the slightest degree all the money I've sent to Idaho. For me it's money well spent and that's all that counts. I've paid more for customs that aren't as nice. One knife that I like very much is my medium Mayo TNT. Mayo speaks highly of Sebenzas and that says a lot. Jim, I like your posts, you sound like you have a lot of experience and are a welcome clear voice of reason. Today I picked up a sweet Benchmade 941, carbon fiber scales (I like the way carbon fiber looks on the handle of a knife) and mirror finished D2 blade drop point srtaight edge (no serrations) axis lock and clip that go on either side of the knife (to facilitate left hand openning). It carries very light for a knife with a 3.4 inch blade. I'll be at Blade Show West in a couple of days, I'm waiting on a new knife from Tom and I'll see if Mr. Reeve has any surprises for me. Maybe he'll have a left hand model to temp me with!:D  ;)

Search function is fritzing on me, but I seem to recall that "token cost" being a hundred bucks, right? Just want to make sure we're thinking of the same incident.
