A Final Thank You All GAW/Winners Announced in post 131

I am not entering but I do want to say thank you for all of the information, pictures and friendly discussion that you've contributed to this corner of the forum.
Both of my parents are battling cancer and I just lost a grandmother to it as well as she stopped treatment to be rid of all the side effects. Live every minute, fill your time with purpose and love and may God watch over you and your family.

We'll keep a chair for you on the porch.

No words..this was a heavy post to read.

In my short time on the porch I've learned so much from your posts Bob.

Every time I pocket a knife I acquired from you I feel like I'm carrying a piece of you...those will NEVER leave my collection.

I truly appreciate every exchange we've had.

I'm hoping for a miracle..
 
Dang Bob, you made a tough call and I think in the long run your grandson will come to really appreciate your bravery. Godspeed sir.
 
Bob, I lurk in the knife forums more than anything else. I've read your posts and comments for a few years now. It really breaks me to hear your news. What a difficult decision. You are in my prayers and I hope you have a long quality time with your family. As FLymon above said, Godspeed sir.

You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. To me you are the heartbeat of this porch. Thank you for being here.
 
Hey Bob. I am horrible at browsing the forum and am just now seeing this. Although we have never met in person I feel like you are a real friend. You are one of the reasons I "stayed" after visiting the porch, a big reason. I hope you have found a small measure of peace with your decision. Much love my friend and in my thoughts always.
