And here's an original picture, taken by my grandpa on the island Tinian of the same plane (Enola Gay) He was a gunner on a B-29. Signed by Paul Tibbets (pilot) and the man that armed the 1st atomic bomb in flight.

That's incredible Jill.
My neighbor growing up, Bud Roth, was a B-17 tail gunner who flew his 25 missions over Germany, and volunteered for 5 more on a British Mosquito. He was a pretty amazing man as well. He had a piece of flak hit his tail once giving him a huge laceration on his back and almost bled to death.
He told me he fired on planes nobody have seen before..the ME-262 jet. His log book was just as incredible to read!
