I've decided that the next knife I buy needs to be a "gentleman badass" folder. What I mean by this is, it needs to be a classy knife with the style of a gentleman's folder that can also be worked hard and hold it's own. It would look out of place on a battlefield, but it would perform very well. It should have:
-A 3-4 inch blade, plain edge, with a somewhat conventional geometry.
-No zytel/thermoplastic/frn scales. It should be a step above plastic.
-one-hand opening with a pocket clip
I don't care what type of lock, since if it's a good quality knife, I'll trust the lock to do it's job. I'm a regular SAK user, so I won't be stressing it anyway.
I guess the ultimate example of what I'm looking for would be a Sebenza with an inlay of wood, micarta, or mammoth. Style and performance perfected, IMHO. The problem is, I can't afford a Sebenza, and I'd be leery of carrying that expensive of a knife around. I need to have the price at or around $100. Extra points if you know of a knife below $50.
Thanks, everyone.
