A Giveaway - Now with a Winner!

I'm not sure if I post around here enough anymore to be considered for this giveaway or not but if so I would like to participate. Either way thanks for having this very generous giveaway and I also would like to say that I have enjoyed reading your posts.
There are so many things about this forum that I like I am not sure where to begin. The people are super friendly and helpful. Not only are there intelligent discussions about traditional knives there is talk about simpler times and what was for a while refereed to here as folksy. Or being folksy, or may the folksy be with you.... anyway. Just good honest straight forward fair dealings. That<s what I have found around this forum. All the beautiful photos of knives are nice to.

Not an entry, a Thank You to Sarah, who adds greatly to the community with her gentle humor, beautiful photos, and appreciation for fine cutlery.

Oh geez. I have always admired that little guy. I'm in, please. What do I like about folks around here? I like that I can get too busy to contribute for weeks at a time, but it always feels the same when I come back. ;)

Not an entry as I already have a litter of these pocket-gems, but many thanks for the opportunity and for your contributions.

If you don't have one of these knives, this is an opportunity too good to resist!:D

Regards, W

Holy that is a nice knife. After saving every penny for under a year, I had the misfortune of getting a very tainted GEC knife and the long and tedious return process it entails (i made a post you can find about the #89 whittler). So now im back to NO GEC knives, and i have always wanted but never had the fortune of having a barlow or jack. Anyway enough whining; if you deem me worthy of entering this giveaway then i would be graced to take part. Thank you.

Since I'm jonesing for an ebony folder, I'll toss my hat in the ring. Thanks P for the generous GAW!

I don't post all that much, but I do check in nearly every day and this corner of BF is responsible for reviving my interest in knives that I had long considered to be outdated. Funny how I never felt comfortable carrying on campus the tacticals that I used to buy, but have no problems carrying a traditional. Should have switched back years ago -- this place pushed me to do just that and I'm grateful.

NOT AN ENTRY

I really enjoy reading here and the generosity of the members here amazes me, not just in free knives but also in knowledge freely given, one of my favorite places on the entire web to read and gawk at pictures.

Let me start by saying I love this place. I haven't posted a whole lot but I get on here three or four times a day. I had never heard of GEC before I joined. I've been setting a little aside every chance I get to buy one in single blade wharncliff. But I have yet to see one that I don't love. They really are some of the best looking knives I've ever seen. I always come to the traditional forums first because of the helpful people and only wish I had more to contribute besides questions.
As far as something funny here goes; I was telling a friend the other day that I am a Case nut, my wife heard me and said no your not, you're a nut case!
Oh yeah, I'm in

I am in!

Why I am in is because I found out about the wonderful GEC bullnose on the traditional forum and this is why my Dad will be receiving one for Christmas to keep his D2 country cousin company which he loves and received last year for Christmas.

not an entry, but this is a pretty great thread so i want to post in it. lol

heres a pic of some of my new knives and that opinel i favor so much;

Hey ~P ...can I say that ever since you turned up here, you have been a most welcome Baldeforum member here, your input is just fantastic, your passion for the knives comes through in such a good way, basically-you rock.
This isnt an entry.... but its one heck of a big Thank You!

~P, this is not an entry either but would like to say thanks as many have already for your participation here. We haven't conversed directly but I sure feel like I know you:p

I rarely enter these give aways as I do have so many knives I really love. But this one is calling to me. Great knife and a very great giveaway. My little forum story is I love this forum for more than peeking my interest and love of pocket knives but also for the people. I don't call just anyone a friend but have made more than I deserve on this forum. Good luck to all.

I'm very new to this part of the forum. I haven't learned much yet, I haven't even figured out which knife to buy.

I enjoy looking at the pictures here. It's a whole new world of beauty.

Please count me in Pertinux!

I would love a chance at that beauty.

There is so many things I have learned here on the traditional sub-forum.
I was not brought up in a knife friendly environment. I never knew that there was a whole new world out there. When I learned about the traditional patterns I found out that there is a whole new world within the new world LOL.

I didn't even consider using/carrying a traditional knife initially. I had only modern one hand openers. After selling off most of my modern folders I have slowly started to accumulate traditionals. Now I only have 2 modern folders and the rest are traditionals.

I've begun to understand the beauty in the old patterns and the usefulness of the different blade configurations. I care less now about speed of opening and the steel of the week.
I use my knife a lot more now since I don't have to worry about people giving me looks when using "old timey" knives in the public.

Thanks for the chance!

Not an entry (I just won Duane's) but a hearty good-on-you for another fine give-away. Very generous of you and I've really been enjoying your posts as of late.

Maybe after the New Year I'll come up with an idea of my own, maybe closer to my birthday. Don't know if I can come up with Kitten Parchissi to pick a winner though.
