A Gladius Deserves a Shield...

Figured you just wanted to "BePrepared."

So, if a Carthaginian Horde attacks your home, you'll be prepared.

you don't actually think i'm going to rely on a sword for home defense do you?

I use a glock 22 and a tlr-1 tac light for that. The gladius and shield are for FUN...

Glad i was just drinking wine when i saw this... JD would have really burned coming out the nose.

For home protection, I'm going to start using a LIGHTNING BOLT!!! LIGHTNING BOLT LIGHTNING BOLT LIGHTNING BOLT Bwahahahahaha... I have tears from laughing at this video

12 gauge shield.

Need an INFI Bayonet at some point, then i can mount the lugs.

That was my point, you won't find a lightweight one that can take rifle rounds.

It'd really suck to get bum rushed and then pinned down with your own shield. That is why the ones they use in corrections are curved outward so you can pin the other guy if needed.

For home defense I'll stick with my gammas and Glock with a light attached or MSAR.

But again, for getting it just to have it have fun and get a shield.

I LOVE the 12ga. As I mentioned elsewhere, I'm waiting for my 8.5" 3+1 AOW to get cleared.

The S12 is another issue. I converted one once. Super unreliable. Traded it for a Bushy and couldn't be happier.

My local CIII shop has a serbu AOW, nice way to go, just 5 bucks in federal tax, and lot's of hip-holster size goodness ;)

Both my saigas are 100 percent, even with walmart specials. It's all in the gas ports and a lot of tuning patience. But they've always been 100% with anything high-brass, surprised to hear about your issues.

Hey, INFI lightning bolts... Next big thing!

I actually have my SKT holster adjusted and ready to rock once the piece gets here.

I'm 75% confident that the lack of reliability was my fault with the gas adjustment. That's ok. I was happy with the trade plus I can always buy another one cheap and convert it. I did that to a x39 model last year. It is now my favorite AK next to my Draco.

Give it another 20 years, Busse will have a BWM that can fire lightning bolts. He can call it the Stunning/Shocking Mistress.

Kushnapup! Let me know how it shoots, the linkage can be tricky, i hear. i've been wanting to do this to one of my S-12s....

wait a minute, does that include the $400 eotech???

I was thinking the exact same thing. ;)

I do love my MSAR. Just don't let the bull-pup-bashers spook ya!

No need to worry about that. I'm a bullpup fanatic. I've owned 4 MSARs and my grail gun is the Keltec RFB.

Kult of Athena makes metal bucklers that you could use to bash somebody too. I've used them in metal on metal sparring and it holds up really well. (not a tacticool kinda guy, just appreciate martial arts from all eras.) but the riot shield screams zombie apocalypse more than a buckler :-)

I say use the little darth vader and use the jedi mind trick to either get the bad guys to give you their wallets or better yet strangle them with his mind

Make sure you replace "Police" with "Busse" and start looking for yellow and black body armor  :D

Well, while i'm waiting for the "stunning/shocking mistress" (Busse version, not, well, nevermind...), i'm still waiting for the INFI bayonet. A friend just got the ZT9... need to keep up with the joneses.
