Hold on a second, what if she is not religious or perhaps not of the Christian faith? Yes, it's a fine looking knife but is it the right graphic to choose for another person?

Count me in for $20 but if it's a decorated knife, just let Lisa come up with something special.

I'm with Scott Dog on this one-I would love to chip in $20 also but I really cannot find the time right now to do a money order. Is there a reason that a check or credit card is not acceptable?

She likes the Green Beret knife and was real excited about it. Told me she was planning to buy one herself, with her own hard earned money. She can put it on her wall, do whatever she wants with it. She likes it and we've decided to get it for her. This thread and it's contributors are buying Bridget a Green Beret knife. No need to start thinking about the other knives she might also like. We're getting her the Green Beret knife.

Daytona no offence, but I had talked to Bridget at length when I was having the Calvary made and several times since. I was not being "flippant" in my suggestion , nor was I being biased based on my beliefs. Farmer ,To say that "we've decided"... "period" seems a bit strong when there was really no discussion at first, just you suggestion, which BTW is a VERY GOOD IDEA and I am in for 20.00 since that is the max , no matter what knife it is/was. I was not demanding a change- just putting in a suggestion for discussion. I am sorry if you took it any other way...
 
I was just laid off but what the heck, its a nice gesture for someone who supports so many of us with consistently great customer service and genuine enthusiasm. I will send my $20 check to Reeve Incorporated.

It's a little hard to tell for sure, some posts didn't indicate how much $$ was sent. Of course, Anne is keeping track on her end. With this great response, it shouldn't take much longer......
 
It'll take a little while for the $$ to filter in, but I'll stay in touch with Anne to see where we're at and make a post to let everyone know.......

GigOne was just talking with Anne, who has offered to accept credit cards for donations towards Bridget's knife. That'll save an awful lot of running around and really make things easy! Great news. Jeff (GigOne) has contributed $40. We're closing in on it, fast !!
 
Are we choosing what to give Bridget or does she get to choose what she wants?

Also, her name is Bridget, not Bridgette. I know because she signed the papers for my recently arrived Green Beret Knife.

Thanks Farmer. Someone above was talking a decorated Sebenza but it makes more sense to get her what she wants.

By the way, I like my recently acquired Green Beret Knife, apparently she likes them also. Good Choice.

Anne is keeping track, she Emailed me this AM that $180 has been received so far. Wanting to be a little more open-minded, I spoke with Anne yesterday about the possibility that Bridget might prefer a different type of knife. Anne said that we're right on track with the Green Beret knife, as Bridget was very involved in the project. She said that it is a very special knife to Bridget for that reason and would be a very meaningful gift. More donations should be arriving at CRK over the next few days, which should bring us close to our goal. Let's try to finish up before Bridget stumbles across our little "scheme"..... I'll keep everyone updated....
