On an unrelated note:
We're having a yard sale this weekend and it's nothing but a pain in the ass.
Thank God for Rainier beer!
Slow day though with the holiday weekend and all...
Looks like the Goodwill is gonna get a truckload from me come Tuesday!

You click each one of those that you want to respond to. It's multi quote. Then, on the last one you wanna respond to, you hit reply with quote.
 
Off to bed in my new ENO. Backyard camping - almost as good as the real thing.....NOT! But...at least it's better than nothing. Had a fire and some beers with a friend this evening after spending the day with Bladite - touring the property and such with some archery afterwards. Fun fun. I need to work on my archery skills....or the deer will have to walk right up to the end of my arrow.

Went surplus store shopping near ft Lewis today, came home with a Dutch army-issue poncho that's seriously heavy duty. Had some Mongolian beef for lunch and smoked salmon with sides for dinner. Also had my Schrade fixed-blade arrive in the mail today, one handling and I'm positive it won't be stealing any carry time from my Beckers, very poor design.
 
Sure be glad when the weather cools off. I hate the summer time. Fall and winter for me.

I'm with you, Dubz. So freaking hot and humid here right now. Dogs don't even want to go out for a walk. Got at least two more days of this before things start to cool off.

Send the schrade back and get store credit, put it towards a portable sharpening item, a decent bench stone, or another Becker.

It sucks. Supposed to be 94° here today. Tired of it. You're right though, gonna start cooling off later this week. Supposed to be in the mid 70's this weekend. Gonna take the father in law to the cabin for the first time.

I don't hate the summer, but I sure don't love the heat. Luckily, we haven't had but a few uncomfortable nights here....which means that even tho it's hot as Hades today the pool is still pretty, uh....refreshing. Slept outside in the new hammock last night. Actually was inside the sleeping bag - temps in the high 50°'s. Looking at the weather for the rest of the week, think I'm gonna hold off on the traditional Labor Day pool closing. 90° thru Thursday, 70's nighttime temps....warmer than it's been all summer.
