Then I saw the Rick Hinderer/Zero Tolerance collaboration and I decided that I had to have that one. In the process of getting Pre-Ordered I went ahead and bought a ZT0350CB and closely behind the ZT0301. Finially, this week I got the G10 Tyrade.

These are really good knives. Actually they are exceptional knives. I had no idea what I was missing out on. I have to say that I'm very pleased with these fine knives.:thumbup:

I personally think kershaw makes some of the best bang for buck folders out there - Been very pleased with the quality of their blades, and ZT is one of the few production companies out there that could do a hinderer collab justice.

I feel ya on that note. I never have claimed to be a Kershaw guy but when I look at my pile of knives the number of Kershaws are getting larger all the time. Just plain outstanding knives. Very innovative designs and some great quality and strength for my needs!!!;) Nice herd you got their "Flatlander1963" those ZT's are second to none IMHO....:D

I got a few Kershaws, I like kershaw because they provide a wide variety of knives from a wide variety of makers.

Here's my most carried of them,

All three from different designers, Tim Galyean, Grant and Gavin Hawk, and Ken Onion, and only one is assisted opeinging ;) , all 3 fill different niches for me.

Good looking knives flatlander

I love my leek, but I have to say that although they felt solid, the ZT knives have never appealed to me. They just feel big and cumbersome, not sure what their intended use is but it seems like there are a lot of other knives out there that are less overbuilt feeling that could get the job done in a more precise manner.

Welcome to the club Flatlander ! :D

A couple years back I had twice as many knives as I do now , after thinning the herd quite a bit I noticed the most kept brand was Kershaw.

Now , aside from the odd model here and there of a different brand the only knife I will buy is a Kershaw... they happen to tickle me where I need it most I guess.

Me too, but in my case wasn't a month ago.

Started with a JYD 2. The lockup of this "linerlock" is exceptional, it is more like a framleock with G10 scales. The got a few more, got surprised by my Kershaw Lahar (best bang for buck IMO)and was so pleased with my JYD 2 TiSG2 and JYD 2 Composite D2. So much so I got them both STR's low riders :)

Don't get me started on the ZT line, absolutely love them!

Yeah, get a blem TiSG2 JYD2 in the Dealers for sale area. Honestly if kershawguy would sell to Malaysia I'd get one myself, rediculous price for such a premium product!

Month ago, I owned 9 Kershaw knives. Currently I only have left: Skyline, ZT 0500 MUDD and JYD 2 Composite Blade. I'm going to get more ZT knives though.

...the intended purpose of ZT knives is to USE, not to play with or show off...big and hefty; yep...they are to be used with minimal compromise; that's why i like the ZT lineup...

PLENTY of lighter knives out there in ALL the brands; you don't like heavy duty don't buy a ZT.

Do the two knives on the bottom have two piece blades? Different steels or just a cosmetic line?

I am in the same boat, I started collecting about half a year ago and now I have 8 knives, 7 of which are Kershaws! I am really trying to force myself to branch out now but it is just hard to pass up some of these deals on Kershaws. My latest was the Lahar, very impressed with it.

Yep two pieces, kershaw uses a less expensive steel, like 14C28N on the spine part of the blade and then they'll use a more premium steel on the edge, like the elmax I believe on the ZT0350.

My ZT0301 arrived two days ago. It looks far chunkier than I expected but feels nicely balanced and fits very comfortably in my hand. The SpeedSafe action is a joy to use. Really smooth. So far it’s exceeding any expectations I had.

I've always loved knives. It runs in the family. Dad gave me a old barlow back when I was about seven or eight. Now that's a goodly amount of time pocket carrying everything from stockman, trappers, to classic lockbacks.

I collect Bucks due to my history with them, but in the last couple of years have ventured off into Spydercos and Benchmades. Now these Kershaws. It is truly amazing the what's available these days.

This new ZT/Hinderer collaberation is going to be great!!!

Hey does this mean eligble for the Kershaw Mafia??

i actually joined this forum based on a kershaw review thread that i linked to. i'am a big fan. love me some kershaw!
the hinderer line will be a big hit. anyone know the model # of the orange scaled ZT? it looks to be the most usable.
