Always tough to free hand shoot after a Lagavulin double. :)
 
There was a Tilt on eBay for the same price months. It never sold and that 0454 for that price won't either. What ZT selling direct to buyers at a higher price has done, is make this LE bring quite a bit more right away to the flippers. Of course they shouldn't be flipping as many as they did before when they could order all available from dealers. So, I guess the new practice worked as well as it's going to.

Ha, that bit was a little tongue in cheek. Many other Nikon shooters I know have long since moved on to later gear than my six year old D700. Nikon's smaller body FX offerings have moved into much higher pixel densities since the D700. For example, the D800/D800E, D810, D600, D610, and D750 all feature 24 - 37 megapixel sensors and similar Canon models like the 5D mark III and 6D have ~20 megapixel sensors.

Oh, no question. I quite love my D700, and I'd hate to think it seemed like I was suggesting otherwise. It's a fantastic camera, and it's always been a pleasure to shoot.
 
I cannot get over the people selling this for over 3k....do they actually think it will sell for that much!

It's one guy with 2 ebay accounts. Both knives for $3499 & $3999 are in Laredo Texas and some of the pictures are the same. He's consumed by greed and the knife simply won't sell for that.
$1000-$1200 seems like the going rate right now.

It looks like S/N 426 or 428. I plan on keeping mine but if some fool offered me that much I'd have to take it.

Then buy another 454 and a 392 when they come up :D
 
There is 13 for sale on eBay right now, the bin ones listed for 1k - 1.2k aren't selling, but the ones being bid on are getting close to a grand, but the auctions get closed because the sellers aren't willing to part for under a grand
 
Enjoying fondling mine, but glad to hear that I'm not the only one with an impossibly tight pocket clip. I was considering sending it back to Kai to see if they could open it up a bit... mine touches and getting much more than a piece of paper between is tough.
