So you trust aliexpress and this seller/maker more than the knife community here? Begs the question of why you are wasting your time here.I'd love to send this thing to some users here to see what they really thought about it, not from across the internet, but given what I see here typically I'm sure it wouldn't return.
I consider my $1000 Medford a much bigger mistake frankly. And the Grimsmo as well, hideous thing. The Grimsmo pen I bought also. Very underwhelming products. It's just a matter of perspective, taste and willingness to gamble I guess. When you wrote this review, what response did you imagine the forum having? For that matter, what's the purpose of this post?
Imagine having the disposable income to drop $350 on a knife, knowing it's a mystery and that there are very good odds you're being cheated. I can't imagine having $350 to spend on a knife and not getting it from a reputable source to ensure I'm actually getting that I paid for.
Wow.JayDeep whatever line of work you're in, or investments you've made, I want to do what you've done.
I call things as I see them. Read the comments without the bias. Try another shoe on. It's pretty obvious. And I'm not quick to quit. I like to try. I definitely spend more time elsewhere. So you trust aliexpress and this seller/maker more than the knife community here? Begs the question of why you are wasting your time here.

Get your vision checked, you might find your purchasing decisions improving as well.I call things as I see them. Read the comments without the bias. Try another shoe on. It's pretty obvious. And I'm not quick to quit. I like to try. I definitely spend more time elsewhere.
I really don't need to sharpen anything often. I don't use my pocket knives for anything. I do use my kitchen knives. I've only used my pull sharpener on a few cheapie from back in the day like Gerber Paraframe and a couple junk CRKT I can no longer recall what they were or where they might be. Now I'm pretty sure I'll find somewhere to get it done properly. Or just buy a new one. I like the easy way out.You forgot to mention how it responds to your pull sharpener.
I definitely spend more time elsewhere.
How could I experience these without buying? Tell me where I can go to put a grimsmo in my hand? Go on I'll wait...You sure seem to have a habit of spending a lot of money on things you don't like.
You, sir, are very welcome. I appreciate your politeness. On behalf of Bladeforums.com, thank you.
Again really wish some of you could feel this thing in your own hands and then tell me what you think. Anyone live in Oregon, Portland metro tricounty area and want to meet up to find out? Open invite. I'm buying the beers.$350 at Aliexpress? I might as well spend it at the craps table in the Bellagio. The odds of getting something legit and quality are about the same as me winning at craps. Especially since I've never played.
I can honestly say I have never purchased from them, or even considered it. Its one thing to buy a WE or Kizer (legit companies), it is another to support known CCP scammers.
Yes, that all sounds accurate. I've noticed that of those AliExpress dicoria and venom knives that LuvThemKnives has had tested they did all test accurate, but were slightly on the softer side, but not by much. Where the range was 59-61 they often came in around high 58- low 59. Good info thanks for that. I own a couple WE as well, but again, they don't make this thing and this thing was what I wanted at that moment so...It's made by Dicoria, a very prominent AliExpress brand. Every knife from them that I've seen tested (LuvThemKnives on YouTube) has been as advertised. Haven't seen any tests for that model (looks like the "Flame Shield" not the "Diving Dragon"), so it could go either way, but I'd say it's more likely than not to be M390. Heat treatment is likely on the soft end (pretty much all of the AliExpress brands).
Unless you really like the design, it's not great value for a Chinese titanium linerlock with M390.
This WE Evoke framelock in 20CV retails for $230ish.

That’s all that matters if that’s what you bought it for.I guess I see it as a gamble. I'm not sure if I'll have it tested. What would change if I knew? I'm not really planning on using it. With so many knives in the collection. Still, if the opportunity presented itself I might. I don't like the ones that put a mark on the material, but they are more reliable than the xray type. Meh, it's a cool knife and that's all I care about. Fidgety friendly and fun to look at. I don't even use my knives, I'm pretty much white collar in every way possible.

Based on my experience here so far, no way on earth I would trust people here with something I actually want to keep. But maybe, given time... thanks for the advice. We do have a legitimate Pass Around Forum here if you’re serious.
