$350 on AliExpress should have you riding around like this:

How could you go so wrong?

I would have messaged the seller and offered 25.00 USD ( if I was you ) and almost guarantee they would have taken it.. just saying, nextime make a ridiculous low offer and be amazed at the outcome.

So I bought this knife on AliExpress because, frankly, I thought it looked cool and as far as I could tell from my limited experience, knowledge and research, it is not a clone or fake of anything. I love the design, although it is far thicker and heavier than I had anticipated at the time. I paid $350 for it, which is a lot and of course there are all kinds of other knives out there I could've gotten for that money, but none that looked like this and this is what I thought I wanted at the time so, argument quelled, no need to bother.

The brand is Fengyelin and model Diving Dragon. Really dumb names, but it is Chinese so... yeah, nuff said. It claims is of M390 and while I'm not getting it tested, I'm fine with assuming it is for now. You're welcome to disagree, but rest assured that nothing you can say that it's based solely on conjecture and opinion will alter that, so again, don't bother.

To the knife: The frame/scales are flamed titanium and are truly to die for visually speaking. They're super solid in the hands with just the right amount of texturing milled into them. The thumb stud is truly the best part, as it is adjustable for hand size and grip. The belt clip is anodized to match the thumb stud and pivot collar, which look phenomenal. The built in backspacer runs 3/4 the back of the frame and is matching flamed Ti. Design and aesthetics on this are unmatchable as far as I'm concerned. The blade design is fine, nothing to write home about but at least it's not generic like the rest of the knives I see everywhere. The adjustments on the fitment are perfection, solid lockup from the counter sunk liner. Centering is also spot on. Zero blade play at all. This thing is honestly overbuilt to the extreme and I'm blown away by it. The action is butter smooth and when released the blade drops with gravity nice and smoothly as well.

The negatives are that the origin of course is not ideal and questionable, authenticity of material used needs to be tested to be sure but I will jump to no conclusions right now, the design of the grip forces your hand pretty far down the scales and puts my pinky right at the end of it, and at least for me it's a bit too bulky and heavy for my taste. Honestly, it's very Medford like in its build and feel, as far as being overly bulky.

I don't recall if it's on washers or bearings but pretty sure it's bearings, given the feel of the action, but either way I'm pleased. One thing to note, unlike some of the "OK" Chinese brands, like TwoSun, it didn't come over lubed. No excess at all in fact. All in all I'm extremely impressed and even though I'm unlikely to carry, it will stay in the collection under the display section of my box.

Haters gunna hate. Players gunna play. I'll just spend my money on what I like and not worry about anyone else. View attachment 2049542View attachment 2049545View attachment 2049546View attachment 2049551
Mentioning Chinese knives, is like walking into a lions den wearing pork chop underwear.

Take that two fiddy you're planning on spending on another knife and fix that ghetto ass counter.
Actually we're replacing the entire island, so no sense replacing anything right now. Redoing the entire kitchen in fact. But great advice. Seriously sound. Not pathetic and juvenile at all.

Just some friendly advice since it's clear money is no object for you. It's very distracting, frankly and takes away from the masterpiece displayed upon it.

He doesn’t do paper cut tests he does counter chop tests. Yeah that’s m390

In all seriousness op your last statement sums it up. It’s your money and do as you wish if your knife makes you happy then who cares what anyone thinks. Knives and other tools are all my favorites until my next 🤣
