Thank you for showing the Holdout. Holdout #1 looks big enough, with very clean lines and a Satin Blade.

I have a Master Hunter in San Mai that has been my medium sized fixed blade work horse for several years now. I love it. The VG1 tends to chip a bit easier than what I like but a quick touch up and its back to work. Really solid blade for the money. I would buy another if mine disappeared.

I sold off all my CS folders except my AK47 Ultra lock aluminum scaled model. Its been good as well.

I've been enjoying my Hold Out III as well... especially since I mirror polished it

I've changed my mind about CS as well, over the last year or so. I've had several, and I'm impressed with the quality and ruggedness, for the most part. I don't have another knife in my entire collection that locks up like my Cold Steel Spartan. I've beat the living crap out of that knife and it hasn't budged or gone out of spec at all.

I never saw the Hold Out, it's nice and I like the polished blade. Nice job :thumbup:
Does the HO III have G10 scales?
 
The Hold Out III is a beast that is built like a brick pagoda. The fit 'n finish is excellent and the knife came extremely sharp. I recommend it highly.
