A Question About Your Collection

Hi VermontEdge!
Nice knives you have there.
The theme could easily be "users"; and if I might add that's a great theme.

I don't really have a theme, but I did notice that I tend to stick more towards the modern end of things, not very many traditional knives in the collection. Here's my EDC box, this is not the entire collection, but just the stuff that gets carried daily. Yes, even the CRKT Peck gets some pocket time, usually when I can't bring a real knife somewhere.

Brass Bolster... That's a good name for a 1930's pulp hero.

Completely agree.

I'm not wrong very often. I was certain I couldn't like EyeDog's Barlow any more than I already did.

I was wrong.

Damn, but that's a tasty piece, Mike.

I decided to use this thread as an excuse to take some photos of the knife collection that has been living with me for a few months. It's not my collection, it belongs to a friend who inherited it from hs grandfather, and it is half of the original collections. It has been staying in my safe while he was overseas, but he is back now, so this lovely collection will be going back to it's real home, but I've enjoyed having it here :)

As you may be able to see, the themes of this collection are handmade custom knives from the mid 20th Century, and Case knives of a similar vintage, that have pretty much just lived in safes since purchase. I especially get a kick out of the Case Bulldog unused in the box with the box that the box came in with the price $12.95 written on it.

Nice batch of knives Jon. Now you'll have more room in your safe for more of your own. [emoji13]
