GPyro, Are those solid oak scales or oak colored dymond wood? To me they look like solid oak. I have one on the way, should have it soon.
I believe it's an oak faced laminate.

I thought at first it may be solid oak, but if I look closely, I think I can see a laminate line.
I've had 3 of these, and this one is probably the nicest.
I gave one away, and the other was a web blast that was so bad I returned it.

I'm sure mine is a laminate, I believe oak only in color. I like it, one of only a few folders I own.

That knife is so cool.
There's something about a good looking handle, and that one appears to be a handful.

I think sometimes it's easy to get hung up on blade steel. Whereas a great handle goes a long way in making a favorite knife.

you have a solid point there. the handle does make the knife when it's a Buck. Bucks 420hc is good enough, for a collector or even a user.
