Doing well here. On to my second cup of coffee and catching up on some email. Typical morning.

Sounds like s good start to the day. I was thinking about hitting the lake, but the wind has picked up so much that I don't think I could get my ice house set up by myself.

Mornin lunatics. Any day on the right side of the ground can't be all bad.

While I don't particularly think it's worth this much, I do think it's pretty awesome of a design. Especially considering the history of it.

Yeah, the history behind it is very cool indeed.

This set is sweet too:

I can't wait for my gear to come home from Todd!!!! Nice!

Discussing anything of note in General is usually very much like teaching a pig to sing... it wastes your time and only serves to annoy the pig.

I pop in there now and then just to keep my name in front of people. Some of those folks actually buy good knives... not just sit around and worry if they're opening deploying their folders too often. :p

Is it bad that this gives me wood?

TMHunt, all bullshit aside, you got skills!

Wow, thanks man, That particular one was actually the second one I ever made, good to see it still being used and abussed.

I always admired the one mistwalker has. His photo:

When I first me Brian, (mistwalker) him and I hit it off pretty well and came friends pretty quick, I ended up sending him several knives to review, A couple hornets, a Magua, and two Yumas, this one and a black and burgandy one. Anyway, when he was done with the Yumas, I didnt really want to sell them since they where used. There wasnt anything wrong with them, just that when someones spends there hard earned money on one of my knives I like for them to have something new and fresh off the grinder. If my memory serves me correctly, I think Moose weaseled his way into owning this one somehow or other.

I really liked this set too, Last I talked to the owner of them he was using the hell out of em!

There are some changes/options coming to the Yuma. As many of you know the Yuma and the Tradewater are the exact same knife with the Tradewater being a little longer of a blade. I wanted the two knives to have a little more of a difference, So, Im now gonna be offering it in 5/32 stock as well as the usual 3/16. I got some blanks at the shop now and you wouldnt believe the difference it makes, Also, after some feedback, the handle area will be opened up a little more at the birds beek and am playing with some other steel options. If that wasnt enough, (and this is the first time I've said this publicly,) I will be offering a clipped and hollow ground version of the Yuma, It will be available at this coming Blade show, Its going to be a skinners/hunters dream, I dont know yet if Im going to call it a Yuma or something different, but it is a clipped and hollow ground version of it, stay tuned, its gonna be a nice piece.

Lots of changes it sounds like. I can't wait to see some pics!!

I'll have to look into that one. I don't know anything about folding saws, so I'm at the mercy of reviews and recommendations.

Does anyone have an Opinel folding saw? Or, can anyone recommend a folding saw to me?

Opinel is a great little saw. Fits in your pants pocket and razor sharp. Laplander is probably the gold standard and has a little more reach. Here's a size comparison. I do like them both.
