A Spyderco is like a Glock!

this photo is from a photo shoot I did a few years ago, I probably can't show some of the other photos from that day (a bit naughty)
as to comparisons, in this case they are both sexy the knife is something I picked up in Tuscany, Italy made by a company called Paladini, from the Scarperia region and the HK is the very sexy P7 M8

Looks like a great shoot. Love the subject matter. I'm not expert in this sort of thing but it seems to me that the red glove pulls the visual away from the knife and HK. Was that on purpose? and if so why?

good eye and point zenheretic! For someone who is not an expert in this sort of visual analysis you noticed and have defined something I never had!
(and probably should have since visual imagery is my business and in the past some of my photos were even bought by the New York Museum of Modern Art for their permanent collection)
my hats off to you and you should consider a career as a photo editor if that entertains you (just think, looking at photos all day, maybe even of hot models)
as to your questions:
It was not on purpose, as we were doing the shoot random props and jewelry got tossed on the floor (the HK was placed) I thought it looked cool and nudged a few things before I took the shot, I always liked this photo, but never thought it was perfect and now with your comment I see that the balance is off with the red glove pulling your eye too much to it, the photo should have something equally strong in the upper left to have your eye going back and forth on it.. or something!!

When I had a Glock all the ka-booms I heard about concerned me. I liked my G22 but I prefer my PT24/7 and P220.
