A Thought On Posts In The Traditional Forum...

Look down, I'm Kerry dammit!

On a totally rediculous and off subject side note, I actually thought that was my middle name for a long time because mom said that a lot....A LOTTTTT! Kindergarten teacher asked me what my middle name was and welllllll, that's what I told her. Totally true story. Would I make up something like that? ;)

Brent Cramer here..... I started making slipjoints around the same time we had our first little girl, Grace, hence the title blades&grace. Shortly after I added my first and last name to my signature line. I agree its nice to be on a first name basis with you guys.

I think Ford knows my middle name

It is nice to be able to address one another by name.
Being more of a visual person I relate to the avatar more than the handle anyway.

My name is Stu, and I too am a slipjointer.

of course everyone knows i'm dennis , however i will try to sign my comments. as said earlier i'm really happy to see a very active return of elliot. dennis

I agree that this subforum is fantastic, I never used to go in here untill I had the pleasure of dealing with Waynorth, and Roland, these two guys are just great people, and this actual forum has got me hooked - how did I miss this forum!!! and I hope I can spend some time in here.
The folder world is very new to me, there's much to learn, I look forward to getting my old Queen folder very soon and posting it here just to get the whole low down of the knife from some of the best knowledable people who can help me.
Take care,
Duncan, (and its great to see thomason back  )

Well, no reason y'all can't use my first name: Jamie.:)

(Irish-Italian ... I know, a classic.)

Also, in no particular order:

Rocky
Doc
Colonel
Doc V
Jack of Spades (call sign)

And, of course, "Hey You!":D

Oh. Do we still call Thomason ... "Goofy?"

I agree, Elliot. I have signed with my first name, on occasion, and it's a nice way to get to know folks.

Just to remind y'all, I'm Ken, and I'm a proud traditionalist.

Heckuva good idea, Elliott! I'm Keith.

You've given me an idea for another thread ..... How did people come up with their BladeForum name/handle???

Why did you choose "Blues"? ;) Why did I choose "coyote711"? ..... I'll start a new thread and explain mine. ;)

If folks would consider updating their signatures the old and infirm amongst us wouldn't have to refer to this thread during their senior moments...I'm just sayin'... ;)

Then again, I think we're off to a good start regardless.

Let's see if I can get this here signature thing working. Sometimes I've added my name to my posts, sometimes not. And look, I even added my location -- so when I lose playing dodge 'em with one of our swarms of tornadoes or fall in the crack after the New Madrid fault finally lets go, you'll know where I used to be. Us old country boys have problems adapting to all this fancy stuff.

I'm Wayne, and I'm technologically illiterate. So, I'll try the whole signature thing, but no promises on success.
