A Trip to Olean

For you uninitiated, unwashed masses out there, that is the Reinhardt Becker Motherf**in Rock Your Face Off Kukri, and it is potent enough to impregnate a Hemi, sleek enough to outfly an F22, and the first run was the reason the dinosaurs are extinct! Also, I hear Tradewater is pretty fond of them, and that's no small feat.

I can't wait to see "Reinhardt Becker Motherf**in Rock Your Face Off Kukri" on the blade with the new laser etching.

Does the smaller sign read "Beckerhead rehab Center"?

Must be a Becker edition of the jeep wrangler.

Oh Hell yeah !!! JEEP Wrangler RUBICON BECKER LTD. !!! :D

My interest is not peaked just yet. Yawn. The RBK would have to be one BTTBone Kick a** MF'er to beat the chopping power of the KaBar Kukri. Just sayin'. :D

Would love to see some new Beckers, but at the risk of being a wet blanket....I'd rather like to see progress on better sheaths. Shrug

Not to sound like a jerk, but its not Becker Sheath and Belt, its Becker Knife and Tool. If you want to pay twice as much for a Becker, to get a better cookie cutter sheath instead of getting a solid sheath, stock for a great price, and having the ability to get exactly what you want in an after market custom sheath, Then more power to you. For me, I love that they are working on new designs and tweaking old designs, instead of raising the prices for a sheath. Just my 2 cents, for what little its worth.

Even more of a tease, you get to eat Ethan Becker's famous cooking!

The kukri looks good, but I'm looking for an excuse to replace my cheap Colombian machete.
Happy to hear business continues to flow forward! The line has really be well-revived under the Ka-Bar tent with very good both new and reintroduction selections, of which I now own three. Keep rollin'!

OK, I am back...... About the only thing I am comfortable talking about is the Reinhart Becker Kukri ........We had initially planned on taking some 5/16 A2 that was available and in stock and do a limited collectors run to start with and then transition to thinner stock.......I am always excited about A2 and I have been known to favor heavy choppers so, I climbed on board that train and was enthusiastically pulling the whistle thingamabob......... It took a while to recontact reality, Hank's original intent, etc......... the original Blackjack version is one of the scariest blades I have ever swung.....One of it's finest features is the balance.......5/16ths was gonna screw that up big time....... Sooooooo...... We are gonna do it in.188 which is pretty close to the original and we can adjust grind height to dial it in....... I am super relieved about this..... I really have no stomach for meeting Hank in the hereafter and trying to explain screwing his design up....... It would be painful in more ways than one.........

Tooj and I worked on a redesign of one of the current line up....... Methinks you guys will like it a lot........ We discussed two new guys that I am REAL excited about..... One is a project that I have been trying to sell John Stitt on for several years.....Persistence and his new found appreciation for WWII blades finally wore him down.....YAY........The fourth project is a very serendipitous happenstance and as a knife nut it almost brought tears to my eyes...... More on that much later...... We are talking a couple of years, dammit....... Yeh, I AM pumped about this week.....Really pumped.....More tomorrow......It is WAAAY past o wine thirty in the Becker household And the old codger needs his rest......Talk to you in the morning.....

OhmyGodohmyGodohmyhGod.....

I'm so excited! I'm really looking forward to seeing what you have in store for us, Mr. Becker.

RBK coming back in A2? I'm ALL over that. The RBK is a fantastic blade. Easily my favorite out of the entire lineup, to date (sorry 9, 10, and 16).
