What a difference one month makes in the forest at this time of the year.
Same spot where I took the first pic for this thread a month ago.
Everything is so green now … and the mosquitoes are out in force.
It was not not too bad today as it was a windy day but you had to keep moving.
Stopping for knife pictures meant I had to pay for them with blood

On the drive home I felt something on my arm, looks like I picked up a hitchhiker.

Terrible quality but took this shot with my phone at full zoom while sitting on my deck. The critter on the top branch is a squirrel, the one on the lower branch is an owl. The squirrel saw the owl and high-tailed it before the owl made his move! You never know what you will see when you take time to sit quietly and observe nature. Sorry no knife in the photo, didn’t have time to place one on the deck before I took the photo.

Thanks Dan. I'm not good with the peak names around here, but I believe that's Mount Glasgow in the background.

The purple cheese was kind of interesting. Was a port wine cheese.
