Most of it was more of a scramble than a walk:

It was quiet on a weekday morning, but I did have some company:

Not sure. I only fish occasionally for catfish, and well up or downstream from there, where the river is wide and shallow. That stretch is extremely deep and narrow, with a fast current. Some of that water looks great for a topwater plug.
You sir, just have a way with birds.
A more fitting knife could not have been chosen for ideal scenic views such as you have shared. Thanks Tom.Short walk today, at a very popular local spot.

I think I need to become a paying member for that to work. I used to be able to PM, but I can’t find the option anywhere now. I might go ahead and get a membership this weekend.I tried to send a private message to you but the site won't allow it. Maybe if you send one to me, I can reply.
Thanks, Frank!A more fitting knife could not have been chosen for ideal scenic views such as you have shared. Thanks Tom.

Around my house, we have the normal Black Capped Chickadees, but I was visiting Island Park, Idaho and it's a bit higher in altitude and a bit further north. And there was a group of 4 or 5 mountain chickadees that seemed to enjoy people. They flew into our car through the back hatch when we were putting on our snowshoes. Our car is fairly neat, but they probably found some crumbs to dine on.A man after my own heart
Very nice !!!
The chickadees appears to be a different variety as well from the ones here in Ontario.
A google search indicates they are Mountain chickadees
