Photos A Walk in Nature

Thanks gents! Yes Washington State, but the pic is from Lake Diablo. We've been here going on 4 years now and we love it (I still head back to FL 4-5 times a year for a few weeks at a time, that's where the Buck picture was taken). Lake Crescent is in the Olympics I believe, which we don't get out to as often as I'd like, but I look forward to changing that in the future. The majority of our time has been spent in the Cascades thus far. But yes, the entirety of the PNW region is absolutely stunning and worth a visit any chance you get, particularly in the summer with the long days and great weather. My hopes are in the future when the kids are out on their own is that we can pull off living here spring through fall and winter back home in Florida.
Couldn't agree more, that whole area has amazing views everywhere you go. I visited the Olympic Peninsula quite a bit during my time living in Washington. Didn't visit any place I wouldn't go back to again without hesitation.

Jack Black Jack Black Great pics Jack with links to the locations

I wish I could like the pictures more than once folks :thumbsup::)

HAHAHA! YES! Sometimes I have my son stand guard and tell me if anyone is coming up trail. I'm just glad to have a gathering place of like minded weirdos where I can share them ;)

I’m glad I’m not the only one who perfectly poses knives for photos at scenic spots.
Anyone else get some odd looks from passerby’s? Like ‘why is he taking a picture of a knife at Yosemite’s tunnel view?’

:D:thumbsup: I don't feel so alone in the universe anymore lol.
I do cast furtive side glances checking for passerby's when taking pics … always a little self conscious :D

I also imagine all of us walking together on some scenic trail fighting to get to the best picture spots first … to the amusement and slight consternation of passerby's LOL

'Marilyn' was a sample for the 2018 Guardians SFO, but unfortunately I couldn't get any more horn like this. Seen here on one of Capability Brown's bridges at Harewood House, West Yorkshire

Thanks for the Keighley & Worth Valley Steam Railway link. (I couldn’t help thinking of the Titfield Thunderbolt.) :)

All excellent photos again, Jack. I liked these from Whitby, in particular. I’ve never been a tropical beach person, but in my (admittedly limited) experience, I’ve found England’s coastal areas to be much more my speed. 🙂
