Photos A Walk in Nature

Looks like a great day out. Nice poles too. One recommendation, tighten the strap up and come in from the bottom instead of the top. You'll thank me later :)

I hold it at the bottom of the handle pushing down.

Johnnythefox Johnnythefox Interesting pictures but sobering too. Those Oaks look like they might've been blighted by some pest or beetle a sad idea as others may be endangered.

It's not too bad to be hanging about in gardens testing out kit though  in our climate here it's getting unpleasant and dark to be out in any garden, nor would I fancy camping at this time of year either. Freezing now, about -5c so that at least makes drier but rain predicted soon so mud mud mud and driving at night is tricky, so black and muddy you can't see the road markings, at least the snow improves vision-when it arrives.

You seem to have really taken to that Rem, a good looking knife for sure.

From my walk today.

I also took what I thought was a really cool picture of my knife under some overhanging branches, but when I got home to my reading glasses, I discovered it was blurry. Anyway, close your eyes and imagine an artistically composed shot of my Okapi under an igloo-shaped dome of overhanging branches big enough to stand up under with room to spare. And imagine it in focus…

To be honest I can also see that pretty girl stripping of to go skinny dipping with her friends.
Just squint and look close where the river bows.

Keep it up I like your photos.

I went for a little electric bike cycle in nature this arvo as the Aussies would say (in poor English).
I was down to one flashing bar of battery power on the way back and only just made it.

The sun was out and it was quite warm in the sun as no wind,I found a nice tree on a old village green to eat my apple under sitting on a bench.
Its a beautiful little farming/village area with very few people it is nice to have the fields and tracks to your self.

Continuing in the same same brilliant style of the post from

J Just Tom.

If you squint and look to the left in this photo you will see a herd of grazing wildebeest.
While under the tree on the far right you can see Bruce Springsteen playing Badlands (solo) while Martin Sheen and Sissy Spacek dance along.

I wonder how many people got this reference, ive met people who have never watched Casablanca for instance,or had a clue who Humphrey Bogart was.

Hi Ray, good to see you :)
Peaceful is what is all about
Mushroom looks unique, would you know what type is it ?

Hi Dan,

No idea about this mushroom. Just a little old and tired little brown mushroom. I though the "exploded" effect was quite artful. You are right - peaceful is the goal. Take care All.

Today I went for a walk on the east shore of Loch Lomond. It was a bit dreich as they say round these parts. Ellie wasn't complaining though.
