108 now. That includes 3 requests for the tracking number. 2 confirmations that I sent it. And 3 random officer hernendez/ Bruce Lee emails.

Yup. I told him I was pissed. He gave certain explanations. An apology to me. I'm giving him one chance to purchase the scale I made for him to honor it. That's about it. Anything else is up to him if he wants to have a semi positive outcome.
He asked for my services. I made it with a current due date.
The end.
 
You're not going to see any money for the scale. These types always seem to have an excuse. Then another. And another. Glad both of you acted w/ caution.

I'm in process of a trade atm. The member I'm trading with has appx 80 positive feedback scores. I only have received feedback 2 or 3 times, all positive. He asked me to ship first, due to the minimal feedback, and because of people like this, I completely understood and am doing so. Too bad people cannot be trusted and we have to take these precautions. It is what it is i guess.....still a shame.

OP I am sorry this happened to you. It is good to know there is people on here that will gladly try to help a stranger out, I am glad you were cautious though and in the end you were able to protect yourself from any loss.

Bella Blades I would love to see some pictures of that scale, I am sure you will have no problem selling it ;-)

I think most people have had to deal with a crazy "Joe Davola (Seinfeld character), type in their life, at one time, or another...but this type of behavior, is unacceptable.

The good news is that it is over and done with the Keith ended up with nothing. I have done the same as the OP a few times and all worked out. In that case we at least have nothing to lose.

The OP and myself seem to be all set now. And the unstable guy does not want to be part of the community any way, problem fixed.
I think he might just be a kid, but out of a five minute phone call I got to the bottom of nothing, no solid answers. Honestly it was a waste of time, but atleast I gave a lesson on communication and integrity.

Hi folks. I had intended to be a bit more involved in this thread when I started it. I am on vacation with the family and the wifi at the hotel leaves something to be desired.

I do want to thank everyone for their support and good words. Its the tightly knit community that makes this forum as great as it is. I appreciate everyones comments(in this thread and privately.)

I can't speak for any form of mental illness. I can see how that might be the case here but, frankly, I have a feeling that wasn't the case here. I think we are dealing with an unstable person and a thief. The reality, no matter what the root cause is, no one should have to deal with this clown. The experience that Bella posted only substantiates this. Frankly, I think this is either some form of mental illness or heavy drug use with a handy addition of pathological lying.

While it is correct to say that I am not out anything, the reason for posting this was to warn other users to the complete and total trainwreck this guy is. In that vein, I will be adding his specific details in the First Thread. I think this is within the rules but the mods will tell me if I am wrong. I think this is more important as Keith is no longer part of the community. I can't say I am terribly shocked he got himself banned (although I'd like to know why) nor am I particularly sad to see him go.

And to think, that all along, I've been thinking, that this thread was about Keith...the Gizmoman! ;) Seriously- any member who has been on this forum as long as you have, completed as many transactions as you have, & have 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK, is one of BF's elite member's.

Mental illness is no excuse when it comes to threats. Especially bipolar. Over commitment perhaps, but when someone crosses the line and starts making demands and threats they need to take some responsibility.

To be honest I am wondering if this shared interest of ours comes with a higher "potentially violent douchebag" quotient. Being online adds trolls to the mix too.

This/our shared interest (KNIVES), is a very disturbing combination, when you're dealing with a person who behaves in this manner!

I seriously hope, that this is the end of this guy, here on BF's!
